I actually have found that "leave-in treatment" is a misnomer. I do not see this product significantly improve my hair's condition. That, in my experience, is a matter of how often I shampoo, whether I heat-style my hair, etc.

However! I love Infusium 23 as a styling product. I put it in my wet hair and let it curl up. The product holds the curl well (as long as I don't brush it). Plus, unlike other styling products, it'd not drying/damaging. So that is a benefit.

I was really excited to try this product because it had such good reviews. I have dry hair, especially at the ends, but nothing too crazy. I just wanted a little extra moisture to smooth it out. This product made my hair feel drier when I used it, and it gave my hair a crunchy texture. It would have worked better, in my opinion, as a volumizing product rather than a moisturizing product. Rather than making my hair smooth and helping it to lay down, it made it poufier.

I love this conditioner because it tames my hair which tends to frizz in humid weather. It is not a greasy product so does not weigh down the hair. Also, I highlight my hair and this detangles really well.

I also use this in my horse's mane and tail. His mane is about 18 inches long and his tail drags the ground. This product gets all the tangles out and keeps the hair healthy.

A spray bottle is a must when I use this conditioner because I like a light mist, but spray bottles are cheap and easy to find so no big deal especially if it keeps down the cost of the product.

I have used this product for years, and it's the best leave-in conditioner I've been able to find. I have thick, wavy, coarse, dry hair that I color and that I style with a blow-dryer and a flat-iron. I can use all the moisturizing help I can get! Infusium really helps improve the condition of my hair. I use a regular wash-out conditioner (a good one) in the shower, and I add this after my hair is towel-dried. Warning: the consistency is like water, so it's very light-weight, but I am convinced that this is the reason it works so well: it actually moisturizes but without making my hair "gummy" and sticky, unlike all of the other leave-in conditioners I've tried. I don't find this difficult to use at all: I bend over, grab my hair, and tip the bottle directly onto the ends of my hair, working the product through the ends and helping it to soak in. Sometimes -- but not usually -- I spill a little on the bathroom floor, but this is a minor and easily-remedied problem. Great product!

I use this product daily on my son's hair. He has long hair up to his shoulders. He hasn't cut his hair in a year and I have been able to keep his hair healthy by using this every morning on his hair before combing it. It also helps detangle his hair and leaves his hair more managable.

I love this product! It smells great and keeps my hair from becoming staticky and bone-dry in the winter. Controls fly-aways! I gave it only 4 stars because it needs to have a spray nozzle instead which would be so much easier. But I just bought a cheap one and put the conditioner in there and now it's much more user friendly.
