These shower hooks were a perfect addition to our vanity lights and our bathroom, in general. The first thing I noticed in seeing them, after they arrived, was that the upper part of the hooks are clear plastic, with the lower part of the hooks being stainless steel. This may seem obvious from the description, but I was going by the photo when I purchased them, and I assumed they were completely stainless steel. The best thing about the hooks is that they are easy to use. We had been using some completely plastic hooks that have to somehow click (lock) into place. With these interDesign hooks, you simply slide them into position on your shower curtain and they are good to go. One bit of caution is that if your shower rod is very thick in circumference, then these hooks may not be big enough. They were a little smaller in circumference than the previous plastic hooks we were using, but fortunately they fit our shower rod comfortably. Also, if you think that you may be applying a lot of force when using them, then the plastic portion of the hooks are a bit thin and could possibly break, as they are not the huge plastic, circular hooks that we previously used. However, if you are using a reasonable amount of force, this should not be an issue. We were happy with the price, also, as they were on sale when we purchased them at 55% off. Overall, they are easy to use, and if your bathroom features a lot of stainless steel, then you will probably appreciate these hooks a great deal. Good Luck.
