My son, who is disabled, could not lift his legs high enough or bend down to wash his feet properly before we bought this chair for him. Now, he feels very secure and is absolutely happy to be able to take care of his "whole body" once again while sitting down. He spends twice as much time in the shower as he did before. He is a tall fellow who weighs 200 lbs. but the chair supports him without any problem. It is very sturdy and does not wobble like some lighter ones do. Pros

Seat did not get slippery during use but needs some hot water to warm up. It's heavier than I expected and a little hard to navigate through the bathroom door due to it's wide seat and footprint.
