Then after about 30 seconds they bags refilled with air. Tried again and again, checking seals. Seal where the vacuum goes leaked.

This newer design seems to seal better and the nice scent is a bonus. In the month I have used them, there has been no leaks noticed. I really love keeping large comforters clean and compact this way.
