For care: In general it is safe to use soap and water to clean your yoga mat. Avoid soaps with scented oils as they breakdown the composition of the mat. Never squeeze out excess water from your mat. To maintain the mats shape hang dry. A small cloth can be used to gently wipe the surface of the mat but do not rub excessively. To maintain the mats sticky texture, clean at least once a week when in use and when not in use or traveling, keep the mat in a yoga bag.
