I'm female and not in very good shape. I purchased the 'heavy' leg band and I can really feel it working my thighs and hips. I've used it for both side stepping and side leg lifts. The leg straps hold the band securely around my calves/ankles. I also tried using the band for some arm exercises and it worked great...a 'lot' of resistance.
This band is much stronger/heavier duty than any other brand of resistance bands I've purchased. I would like to find more of these bands in different lengths. I think this band is well made, using quality materials. I highly recommend it.
