Ten years ago my bone density tests started showing a decline to the point of osteopenia. Jarrow's Bone-Up contains Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite (MCHA) which is a better absorbed type of calcium supplement. Put that Calcium Carbonate and Calcium Citrate back on the shelf, ladies, and try MCHA. It's my choice due to the risk of osteoporosis.

The downside is that you have to take eight capsules a day to get the recommended 1200 mg, but it's easy enough to remember if you just put them in a small bowl on the kitchen counter along with the rest of your supplements, and take them throughout the day.

I'm taking this product for bone support as I have osteopenia. I will not know the results until I have my next dexa scan which will be due in 2012. Bone-up was recommended to me by my doctor who is open to natural remedies. I refuse to take Boniva or other prescription drugs for bone density so this is why I'm trying Bone-Up. Hope it works! I will keep you posted. I did notice that my sleep habits have improved since I'm been using this product. I have bought 4 bottles so far.
