My cardiologist told me to look for a supplement that has 1500mg of DHA + EPA. Most supplements come nowhere near that number without taking a bunch of pills daily. I don't want to swallow a bunch of pills every day. This one has 630mg in each pill. I figure that 2 per day is close enough to his recommended number.[...]. I've also read that supplements that use Cod are not the best choice. This one uses sardines & anchovies, which is supposed to be a good thing.The price is great, compared with comparable pills.The fish taste that you typically burp with cheaper supplements is not present in this supplement. On the other hand, it does leave a slightly unusual after taste. It's hard to describe. It's mild, but weird. My wife says it doesn't bother her, but it bothers me a little. It really seems like a great value. Due to the taste, I'll probably try a different brand once I go through this bottle. But if you are not picky about that sort of thing, I recommend trying this one.
