I also bought this after reading Dr. Ellie's book. Xylitol really works to harden and restore teeth- and while nothing will change the state of your oral health overnight, Xylitol does begin to work fast. I used to think the sensation I'd get after chewing dental gums (the teeth clack a little bit more and the surface of the teeth feel different)was due to my teeth simply being cleaner, but I realized after using this product that much of it was actually the Xylitol in those products. No chewing is necessary with this product- put it in a drink (that is not too bad for the teeth, maybe even water) and swish it around a bit. It sounds crazy, but I can actually feel the difference- the tooth surfaces actually feel a little bit harder, and the teeth clack just a bit more when you bite. I can see this helping to harden up any soft spots and prevent them from becoming cavities, especially if incorporated into a good overall routine.

I bought this to use as part of Dr. Ellie's "Kiss Your Dentist Goodbye" regime to have xylitol throughout the day. I've never used xylitol before, so it took a little adjustment. I normally use stevia or Truvia to sweeten things. So far I've used it to sweeten natural lemonade and other drinks and works fine. There is no aftertaste at all, it sweetens nicely, and it's nice to have another healthy alternative to sugar.
I will buy it again when I run out.

Low carb love. Pure sweetness with no chemical or funky aftertaste. I've tried a good array of different sugar alcohols and find Jarrow Formula's Xyli Pure Powder is the winner. Understand some people find sugar alcohols in general cause stomach upset so I started out slow with small amounts and never had any issues.

The powder formula is a big plus too. It instantly dissolves in cold liquids unlike crystal formulas. Works great in low carb ice cream base (recipe: 3 cups cream/almond milk, 1/3 cup Xyli Pure, 1 tbsp vanilla, 1/4 tsp salt).

Sugar alcohols are very pricey compared to regular sugar but the cost is well worth it when you offset the damage sugar can do to your body.
