The "scary" reviews which "claim" that this product caused them to break-out in a way which seems only to have been exceeded by the Black Death, are simply not credible. I have used this and other Jason aloe gel products for many years, and have never experienced a negative reaction. Aloe vera is one of the most beneficial substances for the protection and healing of skin tissue. To allege a cause and effect relationship between "white heads" and the use of an aloe vera product, is sheer self-delusion. If you like aloe vera, you will be pleased with Jason Natural Cosmetics Aloe Vera 98%, Moisturizing Gel.

I use this product after using hair remover lotion to soothe my skin. I also use it on my bikini line faithfully to prevent inflammation and irritation.

I won't use any other Aloe Vera gel but Jason. I've been using it for years and their formula is still the best. The stuff in the stores does not compare to Jason!

I have used this for years, recommended it to everyone. It was fresh, pure, and very good quality but now.....it stinks, literally.
JASON changed the formula of most of their products. I won't buy anything from them again.

I have to honestly say it made my skin a lot worse, and caused it to break out quite badly, not to mention its adverse effect on my eczema which I thought it would help soothe. I wouldn't recommend it for the face. I also tried the moisturizing aloe vera cream by Jason, which was no better than the gel.

I used this all over my face to help with moisturization and relief from acne and at first it seemed to work okay, but after 2 weeks my face looked really bad -- lots of spots and A LOT of small, colorless bumps on the side of my mouth/chin that are now breaking out into big white heads.
I would NOT recommend this for use all over...but for some reason it seems to work well as a spot treatment. I put a dab of tea tree oil on a spot then a glob of this over it and it helps dry them up quick...however I am not so sure if it causes surrounding areas to break out.

Did not like the smell and how it is colored. Preferred Lily of the Desert's aloe vera gel, which basically does not have any smell and is colorless.

5 stars is not nearly enough for this stuff!!! The first time I ever heard of it, my girlfriend (now wife) had used some type of moisturizer that gave her a horrible rash. She has extremely sensitive skin and there are not very many products she can safely use. Her face was red, bumpy and she said it burned. We went to the store in search of something to alleviate her suffering and found this. She started using it, and from the first application, it made a huge difference. Her rash was gone in about 4 days and it saved us from going to see a doctor. Now we ALWAYS keep it on hand. It is incredible to put on your face after shaving as well.

Love it - a non-sticky aloe vera. But a bit pricey.
