It was a hot, sunny day in the 90s and they were in the direct sun for more than two hours. Neither one had even a hint of redness afterward. I did not use sunscreen on myself but remained mostly in the shade; however, I got a sunburn on the back of my neck. This product is thick and needs to be rubbed in thoroughly, but I find it to be very effective, even during water play. Lasts a long time too! This is also one of the safest sunscreens on the Environmental Working Group's list of safe products. VS Most Liked Negative Review Very greasy- it has ... Very greasy- it has castor oil in it- ugh. I broke out and did not appreciate the non blendable factor. It also locks in sweat so your face feels super hot. I always use organic, natural (non chemical) products and this was money wasted. It was also a pain in removing. I recommend Jason Sunbrellas Mineral sunblock or Colorescience all clear SPF 30 instead. Best Uses Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Earth's Best Organic Sunblock, Chemical Free SPF 30+, 4 oz: Used as a sunblock, left a whitle film, that eventually turns purplish looking. There was no being able to rub it in. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Earth's Best Organic Sunblock, Chemical Free SPF 30+, 4 oz: I found this sunscreen to be good at keeping everything off, including soap... my kids would have white skin for days even after scrubbing with washcloth and soap. I didn't like how sticky and pasty it is. Recommended as a non-paraben sunscreen, but trying other ones now. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Earth's Best Organic Sunblock, Chemical Free SPF 30+, 4 oz: All sunblocks of any worth are heavy and gooey. Yes, they also stain. If you prefer a light-weight "sunblock" in make-up or moisturizer, please be aware that they are not very effective. This product is for people who need a real sunblock but are allergic to most sunblocks. Pros

Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Earth's Best Organic Sunblock, Chemical Free SPF 30+, 4 oz: I have to walk in the sun with baby during the day to get about, and we needed a chemical free sunscreen that would be safe for his skin. We really liked using this one, although it is a little thick and made him look pale, haha! I also wonder what other moms do to protect the scalps of little babies without using chemicals. I just rubbed it into his hair and gave him a little mini-mohawk! Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Earth's Best Organic Sunblock, Chemical Free SPF 30+, 4 oz: Okay so maybe it's white and doesn't rub in that well, that is all fine with me because I have a 2 year old son who has had an allergy to every sunscreen I have tried until today when I put this on him! I am so happy! I have spent a small fortune experimenting with sun screens and am soooooo happy to finally have found one that he can wear! Pros

Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Earth's Best Organic Sunblock, Chemical Free SPF 30+, 4 oz: We just got back from the Outer Banks. This sunscreen went on thick and white which I found a bonus where you are trying to hold down an 18 month old. I could see if I missed any spots. I would not recommend using this if you are putting a child in a car seat because it does get all over everything - but wow - does it work. You must follow the directions and reapply. My daughter did not get burned at all. Great Product. Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Earth's Best Organic Sunblock, Chemical Free SPF 30+, 4 oz: Left stains our clothing, towels, and bathing suits. I don't mind being pastey white, but this stuff is very heavy and does not rub onto the skin well at all. I did contact the comapny however, and they were happy to send me coupons worth the value of the sunscreen. Pros

Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Earth's Best Organic Sunblock, Chemical Free SPF 30+, 4 oz: A dermatologist told me that the only active ingredients in your sunscreen should be Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide and that is the only two active ingredients in this product. I'll take the thickness of it. You just have to rub it in really well. Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » ![]() |
