This works for me because I have sensitive skin and scalp and fine, fragile pale blond color-treated hair. The aloe vera in Jason's is soothing to my touchy skin (the plant is often used to help heal hurt skin), and also seems to strengthen, shine and moisturize. I use the Earth Science a bit less often, usually weekly, as a clarifying cleanser. I love Jason's because it leaves my hair looking and feeling fresh, healthy and even a bit lusher - it plumps up my natural wave with a glossy finish! And both products are free of lauryl/laureth sulfates, the harsher primary detergent in almost every mainstream shampoo. It felt like straw and had no shine, and I even was using the matching conditioner. Maybe it's ok for people with normal hair (mine was dry to begin with) but as soon as I switched to a better shampoo and conditioner my hair improved. I wish it worked because the other product they are currently using is pricey. However, it made my older daughter itch, so I didn't even bother trying it on my other child with eczema. This is going back. I will not bother to either recommend or not recommend because it might work for others. One can only test a product to find out if it's good personally. Was this review helpful? It does tend to try out my hair with daily use, but using a conditioner every week or so takes care of that. For the price, I would recommend it highly!

Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Fragrance Free Daily Shampoo: For All Hair Types, 16 fl oz: Of all the fragrance-free shampoos that I have tried (Earth Essentials, Magick Botanicals, 365 brand), this one is my favorite because it doesn't dry out my hair and it lathers well. I have normal to dry hair and this is just about right. It isn't as gentle as the scented salon shampoos that I've had to give up, but it is almost as good.

Best Uses Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Fragrance Free Daily Shampoo: For All Hair Types, 16 fl oz: As someone with both allergies to perfume and intensely sensitive skin, I've tried a lot of so-called "fragrance free" stuff, and this is the closest I've ever found to having no odor. It doesn't lather as much as I'm used to, but it seems to clean just fine and doesn't bother my sensitive skin either. My only issue with it is that I have a very dry scalp, and it doesn't seem to help with the flaking, so I've got to switch of with a dandruff control shampoo (which is a whole nother problem), so if you've got flakes, just be aware of that.

My only complaint is that it takes quite a bit to wash oilier hair. Even though it's not advertised as such, I find this shampoo to add a lot of volume to my hair. It's very gentle and leaves my hair shiny and smelling nice. Definitely one of the best shampoos on the market.

I can't use any products with any fragrance...this one is truly fragrance free. This works well, but with long hair, you definitely need the conditioner too. This shampoo is fragrance free, but does have a slight smell. However, it is a much less noticeable smell than similar products I've tried. I highly recommend this product to people having trouble with nausea due to pregnancy. I will purchase this shampoo again!

It doesn't really lather and I had to use more than usual. It is drying and not pleasant to use. I do appreciate that it is a natural product without fragrance, but I cannot recommend it. Tried it also on my daughter's curly short hair, same result.
