This shampoo was absolutely horrible. It hardly lathered at all and left my children's hair dried out and feeling like straw. The Jason conditioner we purchased was also a complete waste. I can't even bring myself to finish the bottles - we are throwing them away and going back to California Baby.

I have used both this shampoo and the daily detngler, and I for my wavy, oily , fine textured hair,the extra gentle is best. It really cleans the scalp and makes my hair soft and bouncy. It is a little bit astringent, so when I use it daily, I make sure to condition my whole head, ,not just the ends, after I shampoo. All in all, it is refreshingly clean and pleasingly scented.
