I have used ALL the "natural" sunscreen/sunblock options for toddlers and children and this is by far one of my favorites. I usually don't leave reviews, but I read the negative reviews regarding this product and it sounds like some people may have gotten a bad batch lot or something. I would have returned the product from where I bought it and gotten a fresh tube. I have purchased over 10 tubes of the sunblock and have never had the "gritty or beading problem" that has been noted in other reviews. We have also never experienced any burning or running of this product.
Now, it can appear to be difficult to rub in if you are not use to a physical block product, but this is definitely one of the easiest to rub in. After a little practice with physical blocks you get the hang of it. These types of blocks are more natural and thus take more effort to rub in due to the ingredients.
the kids do love the smell. I don't love it so much (it smells like banana Laffy Taffy to me) but it is easy to use, always protects us and we never have had any of the negative issues associated with the other reviews posted. Give it a try and if something seems wrong with it - return it!

This stuff burns your eyes when you sweat or any moisture loosens the cream from its original place on your face and gets ANYwhere near your eyes. I know it doesn't say this is for faces, but regardless, it shouldn't burn your eyes.

The bottle in the picture with the hook is the old bottle. The product arrived in a plain squeeze bottle.
The reason I love this sunscreen is that on the face or neck it doesn't look shiny like all the other ones with Avobenzene (UVA long-lasting protection).

Hard to rub in, gritty and runs when wet. What that meant for my three year old was it getting into his eyes as it ran down from his forehead after getting splashed (along with his natural instinct to wipe the water away with his sunscreen covered forearms & hands). It was obviously painful for him and very disappointing for us. I would not recommend this product for use in or near water. The fact that it runs so easily makes it very hard to use on the face. Love the ingredients & no skin reactions part of the product.

This product is horrible. When I put it on my toddler's skin it has tiny "beads" in it that never go away when I applied. It also leaves a white, gooey film and is very drying. It was a complete waste of money.

This stuff is wonderful! I use it on my toddler, and also myself. I have sensitive skin, and have had no reaction to it at all. I use it under my makeup, it is great compared to other much more expensive sunscreens I have used before, not sticky at all, blends well, and has a pleasant scent. Plus, it has safe ingredients and works very well, what more could one ask for?

This is a wondeful sunscreen and safe! It does not have a lot of the harmful chemicals found in other sunscreens that are labeled "natural." I have used it on my daughter since she was eight months old. It protects well, and has a pleasant smell.

It is labeled for kids, but I used it for myself as I burn fast. The local store did not have regular sunblocks. I love this product. I did not burn once.

Excellent product. Although it is a little bit harder to spread and takes a bit longer to absorb into the skin than other products on the market, it works very well and is my choice #1 because it is all natural, paraben-free and is very safe for my kids for everyday use in the sun. This sunblock has a very light and pleasant citrus fragrance which disappears shortly after application. Price is very reasonable too.
