To those reviewing this product and complaining that it doesn't rub in and that it leaves white streaks, if you don't want those traits in your sunblock, you're not going to be able to use a physical block. Only chemical blockers will do that.

I gave this product a try because it's on the cheaper end of the mineral block spectrum. I am glad I ignored the negative reviews, because I was afraid it would just stay stark white. That isn't true. This stuff basically just makes your skin look a shade or two lighter. It doesn't stay pure white and it doesn't leave streaks if you take 30 seconds to rub it in properly. It is thicker than typical sunblock, but you just have to rub a little longer. I laughed when I saw someone had written that it smells like fake banana. To me it just smells like sunscreen. It has no added aromas, so I'm not entirely sure what that reviewer meant.

I was mostly concerned about not being able to tan at all through 30 spf, but I just wait until I've been in the sun for a couple hours before I put it on (we go to the beach at like 8 am, so I am okay to do that!). If I'm out in the middle of the day I put it on before I go out.

It is a little on the heavy side. If I don't wipe my hands off before I go into the water, my fingers feel gummy, but this isn't exactly unique to this product (I dislike the feel of any sunscreen on my hands) nor does it take a rocket scientist to figure out how to avoid this problem.

My husband is very fair adn we used this during our beach vacaton to Roatan. He didn't burn and applied every 2 hours while outside. It is more difficult to apply than other brands. Sometimes you can see a white film on your body.

I bought this sunscreen for my 5 year old and she loves it as well as I. She likes to apply it to herself. It feels nice, rubs in well and doesn't leave white spots or flakes. Good protection. Recommended and will purchase again.

read alot of reviews about the difficulties of rubbing in but still i decided to try, I am into my third tube now. the trick is not to apply directly unto your face ( i used it daily under makeup), I rub it evenly onto my finger tips then pat it on my face. No grease, no white residue.

This works wells, but is extremely thick and does not absorb well at all. I use it daily and it also builds up in the creases at my elbow. Don't even think about applying when you are wearing clothes, it's like wiping deodorant all over you. Would not buy again.

I was concerned that it would be like paste since it's a mineral block like some other products I have tried. Rubs in very easily and feel safe using it.

It does leave a bit of "purple tint" to your skin--but I don't care. I like the protection and the fact that I'm not putting in unnecessary chemicals in my body.

I generally like Jason products because they are affordable and effective, but this sunblock is terrible! First, it doesn't absorb into your skin, so you have white streaks all over. Second, when you go into the water, it runs all over and doesn't stay on. Finally, it smells terrible - it's a fake banana smell.

I am not a fair skinned person. I went to the beach the other day and I was out there for about 6 hours. It worked really well as far protection. Unfortunately, it does not rub in easily and it leaves a white residue. I played in the water for a while and when I got out the white residue was still there. It definitely serves it's purpose, but I doubt i would purchase it again.
