They changed the formulation since I last purchased this product. They added a strong fragrance, and gave it the consistency of dish detergent. It used to be fragrance free and a thin consistency which lathered beautifully.

I like the consistency of the cleanser. It isn't too thick or too thin. I like the smell, it has a clean fresh smell. The cleanser removes most of my makeup except for my mascara. It doesn't remove mascara easily. My face feels smooth and full of mositure after I wash my face.

This is one of the best facial cleansers I've ever used. It never disappoints, removing dirt/oil/makeup and cleanses the pores, but does not strip the skin. One of my favorite things is that as gentle as it is, it still lathers well, which is not always the case with "natural" products. I will be using this for a long time.

I temporarily switched to another product (not Jason) that is similar but has tea tree oil in it. BIG mistake!... the tea tree oil over-dried my face and actually made me break out. And it increased the sensitivity of my facial skin to the point of burning. So... I'm back to Jason's Super-C! It's gentle, not drying, it rinses clean, but is somehow hydrating without causing oil. Great stuff & now I'm sticking with it!!!

I have used this product for many years. When I was younger, it worked well with my oily skin. My skin has become drier and more sensitive. I still like this product. It seems like the formula has changed over time with it being less concentrated than it was before.

I have been looking for all natural products and have used other Jason products. This had overall good reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. I was sadly disappointed. It was very watery and I did not like the smell at all. I also thought by the picture that it was a pump bottle. I will continue my search for an all natural face cleanser.

This is good but not outstanding. It smells great (like orange/tangerine) but does nothing for mild acne. Face feels a little dry after using but clean. Love natural products... Jason has a good line with prices not super high.

I'm a pretty loyal Cetaphil user, but like to use different face washes for AM and PM. I was looking for something with natural ingredients, in a gentle formula for combination skin.

This product does not make overstuffed claims and really delivers on the basic promise: my skin feels clean, fresh, and balanced. It stays that way and doesn't get too oily as the day goes on.

Two things I was a little disappointed in, but not a big deal:
1. The consistency is quite thin. More specifically, when you squirt it into your hand, you have to react quick, or it'll start running down your arm. This doesn't affect how nice and sudsy it gets when you start washing.
2. The smell is a little sweet, kind of like Pez candy! I was hoping, as a Vitamin C product, that it would smell more citrus-y.

As other commenters have said, I don't think the Vitamin C actually has time to do much benefit for your skin, but do like the way it cleanses overall.

I bought this as a substitute for a L'Oreal product I can no longer find, and it's really nice! It leaves my skin feeling clean, smooth and soft -- can't beat those. It's not heavily perfumed, either, making it a good choice for those of us who are sensitive to scents.

I am also a budget buyer. This is excellent if you are in the sun alot. I used for years and had to purchase only from a health food store . Was too expensive then discontinued. Happy to find again and at a much more reasonable price
