Every product I've tried from Jason has been great. After moving from a humid environment to the desert I began experiencing very dry skin- including on my scalp. It was itchy, it was flaky, my hair was full of static electricity... it was driving me crazy. I tried several different brands and nothing changed. I drank more water and my skin remained dry. I tried hot oil treatments and continued having scalp problems. Tried washing my hair every other day, then felt both oily and dry. Then I remembered this brand from when I had my hair in braided extensions and was having scalp issues. After several weeks of using it, my scalp and hair are back to normal. I am also happy that it doesn't use lauryl/laureth sulfates, which can contribute to drying and irritation. It feels great on the scalp and I love the smell of tea tree oil. We have hard water and it still lathers up nicely. VS Most Liked Negative Review Caused a rash I bought this product for my daughter who has oily, stringy hair. She hated the minty smell, and wouldn't use it. Since I spent the money on it, i figured I'd use it. I can't say for absolute certainty, but I believe I ended up with an insanely itchy rash, mostly on my chest area, sides of face, and breast area. The rash came and went in intensity, but always lingered, even after II went to the dermatologist about 4 times, was on antibiotics, steroids, creams...nothing worked. Then I was thinking...what did I do differently in the last 2 months. I started going through everything, and realized I would use this shampoo every once in a while, and that was the ONLY skin contact item that was different at that time. I threw out this bottle, the rash SLOWLY went away, and now another 3 months has passed and the rash never came back. I'm not saying that everyone will have this problem, but I was CRAZY with the itching, and I am writing this review so that it may help someone else if they end up with a mysterious rash. Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Tea Tree Scalp Normalizing Shampoo, 17.5 fl oz: I bought this with the hopes that it would help settle some scalp issues I've been having since a "bleaching gone wrong" incident that left me with a great deal of scalp sensitivity. I have to say that it's definitely helped ease it and has made the texture a lot more tolerable. I use it daily and have found it to be very gentle. I'd definitely recommend it.

Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Tea Tree Scalp Normalizing Shampoo, 17.5 fl oz: For me to order this shampoo instead of just going to the store for shampoo says it all. It is worth the effort of taking the extra steps.

Best Uses Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Tea Tree Scalp Normalizing Shampoo, 17.5 fl oz: It's difficult to decribe - it doesn't provoke danfruff but it doesn't really leave the scal all that clean. It feels like it's drying the hair, like not moisterizing it while your washing. I've had to use more conditioner thatn usual to recompense.

Best Uses Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Tea Tree Scalp Normalizing Shampoo, 17.5 fl oz: I have eczema on the back of my scalp, and even though I live in a fairly humid environment, this winter the itchiness became so awful that I would scratch my scalp all day until it bled. Other OTC dandruff and itch shampoos were doing nothing for me. I was ready to go visit a dermatologist. Then I read online that tea tree oil was an effective anti-itch agent, and although I started my quest for a well-known salon version of a tea tree shampoo, I stumbled across this product and decided to try it.

Comments about Jason Natural Cosmetics Tea Tree Scalp Normalizing Shampoo, 17.5 fl oz: As a curly girl, I tried to minimize/eliminate use of shampoo, but recent scalp issues have left me scrambling for solutions. I like this shampoo for how clean and itch-free it leaves my scalp, but I'll continue my search for a sulfate-free solution.
