I have greasy scalp and dry hair. Recently, I have dandruff problem so I purchased this shampoo. It doesn't lather well and makes my hair hard to comb through. It helps stop itchy but also makes my scaple dry and does nothing to treat flaky area.

I bought this with the hopes that it would help settle some scalp issues I've been having since a "bleaching gone wrong" incident that left me with a great deal of scalp sensitivity. I have to say that it's definitely helped ease it and has made the texture a lot more tolerable. I use it daily and have found it to be very gentle. I'd definitely recommend it.

It's difficult to decribe - it doesn't provoke danfruff but it doesn't really leave the scal all that clean. It feels like it's drying the hair, like not moisterizing it while your washing. I've had to use more conditioner thatn usual to recompense.

I have eczema on the back of my scalp, and even though I live in a fairly humid environment, this winter the itchiness became so awful that I would scratch my scalp all day until it bled. Other OTC dandruff and itch shampoos were doing nothing for me. I was ready to go visit a dermatologist. Then I read online that tea tree oil was an effective anti-itch agent, and although I started my quest for a well-known salon version of a tea tree shampoo, I stumbled across this product and decided to try it.

The one thing I noticed right away was the SWEET RELIEF of absolutely no itch...on the very first day! I lather up and let it sit on my head for a few minutes before rinsing and applying conditioner, and I have not felt the need to scratch my head once since I started using this shampoo. It also effectively cleans all the styling product out of my hair each morning, leaving me with really soft and more manageable hair and a really clean scalp (I'll mention that I have a filtered shower head, which may be the difference in my experience from those who thought it left their hair feeling dry).

Yes, the smell is strong (but tea tree oil has a characteristic smell). I don't notice that the smell stays in my hair, though, and my regular conditioner eliminates any residual odor anyway. I'm just so thrilled to have finally found something that works. I will definitely keep buying this product!

I've used it about 3 x's so far and it has drastically alleviated my scaly itchy scalp. I don't care for the earthy smell, but if that's what it takes, sobeit!

I bought this product because I developed dryness and dandruff that would not go away. I read good reviews on this product, and after the first wash I saw results. The dandruff has drastically diminished. Plus this is a natural product so wash away

As a curly girl, I tried to minimize/eliminate use of shampoo, but recent scalp issues have left me scrambling for solutions. I like this shampoo for how clean and itch-free it leaves my scalp, but I'll continue my search for a sulfate-free solution.
