I'll be honest: I love this brand. Every product I've tried from Jason has been great. After moving from a humid environment to the desert I began experiencing very dry skin- including on my scalp. It was itchy, it was flaky, my hair was full of static electricity... it was driving me crazy. I tried several different brands and nothing changed. I drank more water and my skin remained dry. I tried hot oil treatments and continued having scalp problems. Tried washing my hair every other day, then felt both oily and dry. Then I remembered this brand from when I had my hair in braided extensions and was having scalp issues. After several weeks of using it, my scalp and hair are back to normal. I am also happy that it doesn't use lauryl/laureth sulfates, which can contribute to drying and irritation. It feels great on the scalp and I love the smell of tea tree oil. We have hard water and it still lathers up nicely.

I have had an unexplainable dry scalp for a while now. Which is why I decided to try this. It actually works quite well and has pretty much taken care of my problem with some great gentle natural ingredients.

I feel it smells disgusting though, like bug spray. I keep using it cause it works, thenI use a pretty smelling conditioner and products. But once it;s gone, Im sure I won;t use it again due to the smell.

Comments about JASON Tea Tree Scalp Normalizing Shampoo, 17.5 fl oz:

I use this shampoo every time I take a shower, which is every other day. As soon as I used this shampoo I felt it working the first day I used it! It smells so good, I think. I've used Head & Shoulders, I've used other brands but they always left my hair oily and stringy. NOT THIS. This product leaves my hair, shiny (in the good way), lustrous, soft and thicker! It also adds volume to my fine hair.
The next day my hair still looked good, not oily or dull. I asked my mom to feel my hair and she told me it feels like satin. So I will definitely keep buying this shampoo & conditioner.

Keep in mind I have natural red hair, and girls that have natural red hair have a different texture to their hair, I don't know how to explain it, but our hair is just different than regular hair.

Love the product I would like to see more tea tree oil add for a tingle on the scalp to know its working. Its gentle and you really do not really need a conditioner

I was looking forward to using a natural tea tree shampoo, but shocked when I had to use twice as much product as I normally do to get any kind of lateher. Once I did I was fine with the results, but why am I paying for half a bottle of water when there are other tea tree shampoos that are so much better?

This is especially great for winter when scalp is dry. I only wash hair once or twice a week. Sometimes I would get breakage from over drying or using flat iron. Not only does it make your scalp clear it shines your hair. My hairdresser even noticed how much healthy my hair is.

This is the best shampoo for combatting itchy dry flaky scalp. I use it every time I shampoo, plus it's safe for color treated hair and doesn't smell like noxious chemicals. I have been having trouble finding it even at natural stores and am worried it's going to get discontinued. Please don't!!

It has a strong industrial chemical type smell that is extremely unpleasant, and after over a week's use (every day) it did nothing to combat the flakes & itching! No good!

Leaves scalp feeling clean and refreshed. This product doesn't lather up as much as other commercial products which in some ways is pretty good, it shows this is not made up of a bunch of harsh soap chemicals. Also, a little goes a long way.
