I suppose it's the bottom line, but when a product has always been as good as Jean Nate was, then raise the price if you must, but keep the quality. Revlon has added and done who knows what else to Jean Nate, making it a weak second cousin to the scent we all loved. There's an unpleasant musky odor to it now, and the refreshing feeling it would give when splashed on is gone. I've written to Revlon, but haven't heard back. I've returned the product. Comments about Jean Nate After Bath Splash Mist, Original, 8 fl oz: Found this while shopping at Drugstore.com. Boy, did it bring back memories...wore this in the '50's and '60's. I wore it to a function and 3 women came up and said how much the scent reminded them of Jean Nate....I said it was. They didn't know it was still available and they went online and got it too. It's a light lemony scent,not overpowering, but fresh.

But I use this after-bath-splash every day after my shower. It is light and not overpowering and just makes me feel fresh. I do get occasional compliments if someone smells it on my arms (usually for the first hour or so after I put it on). Just a nice, light, refreshing touch.

It has a "plastic" smell like the plastic bottle somehow has spoiled the fragrance. This will be the last time I use Jean Nate. I'm sorry I bought 2 bottles! I always used it after showering or bathing, but now, I'm just using it to get rid of it!

I've been using Jean Nate for over 45 years and I know that the cologne and the large bottle of splash is stronger than the daily mist. I fill my mist bottle with the stronger fragrance from the large bottle you can purchase in many drug stores. For those of you who have not used the larger bottle or the cologne, I suggest you do so to get the scent you remember.
