Great energizing product. Easy to chew and to swallow. Easily digested. Great taste. Comes in packages of approximately 14 beans, so it's easily divisible into whatever caloric combination you need.
The problem with this product is the packaging. The bag is positively unrippable, which makes extracting the beans at the bottom of the bag a hassle. Most of the time the beans just pour out. But sometimes they stick to the bottom. Instead of being able to simply tear open the plastic package (as you would expect), you're forced to extract the last few beans with your fingers or to abandom them.
Despite the packaging problem, I still have to rate the Sport Beans as a solid 5 stars. Orange and fruit punch are my favorite flavors. I'm a little less enthusiastic about the lime flavor.

When Should I Take it? Before Workout: Eat one packet about 30 minutes before exercise with 1-2 cups of water. During Workout: Eat as needed, aiming for one packet every 45 minutes of activity. After Workout: Eat to help replenish muscle stores of carbohydrates. As always, consume water to replace fluids lost through sweat.
