I suck on them and don't chew for that cost me a hell of a lot of dental work - so I suck on them and when they get sticky I toss - this way I get the best and don't worry about weight (which I always worry about). I haven't experienced any special stomach issues (and I have other stomach problems which have not gotten worse. The flavor is perfect=you wouldn't know they were sugarles. My problem is with at least one of the ingredients. After having a regular size serving, I spent the rest of the day in severe pain, with cramps, bloating, and extreme gas. Not pretty. I've done some reading, and think it is the polydextrose which is the culprit. I feel compelled to warn others about the possibility of a similar reaction.
