However, toward the end of the summer in which I used it, I noticed that I had some odd spots on my face where it seemed like I had melasma, or darkening of the skin, on my cheeks where I had had many freckles and on my upper lip. I realized that it was being caused by this moisturizer. Indeed, part of the point of the moisturizer is to darken skin to look like a tan, but this was being absorbed by my face in a very different way than when I used the regular Jergens Natural Glow on my legs or body. Within a month of stopping use of the moisturizer, the dark spots dissipated, thankfully. I will not use this product again. Give this product a pass, as well as other Jergen's "Natural" (yeah, right) Glow products, which I've tried as well and are horrible.
