"Finally Great Color Without Odor"? Really?? In whose world? This is loaded with perfume...a lovely scent for those who don't mind. But my husband and I both got an "allergic" headache from the scent, and I had to wash it off. I wish I could comment on how well this "tans", but I couldn't leave it on long enough to tell. As always, though, service and shipping from Drugstore.com are excellent. Now I wonder what their return policy is!

It takes until the 3rd application to really see a good glow, and the results, per day, are even better the next day before you shower and shave. I'm on my 4th application, and my skin looks tan and smooth. The only areas that got a little "orange" were my elbows, but my wrists and ankles and toes look evenly tanned.

I tried this product in the past and could not finish the bottle because of the offensive smell.
I bought the product because of an advertisement that said it was now odorless. This is my first day using and I can't stand the smell. I cannot smell the perfume that I wear; I can only smell this product. I am not sure that I will be able to finish the bottle. Very disappointed and slightly sick to my stomach.

Well, I remember trying this stuff as a teenager when it smelled horrible and I actually got really bad headaches from the smell, which would stick around for DAYS. The color back then also wasn't even as it is now. I went years without trying any other self tanning products, except on a one-time fail basis. But after summers in the sun at high altitude I noticed this winter (I'm 27) that I had more sun spots than I'd ever had before and was starting to show the damage of sun close up on the surface of my skin. So I decided I probably need to buckle down on using sunscreen and not over-doing the UVA/UVB exposure.

I still hate all self-tanners that I've tried, even the Bareminerals one everyone loves. In my opinion, all the high end tanners are a joke and seriously overpriced for what they offer. They ALL look fake on me with that yellowing, too-brown color to them. I am very fair skinned with pink undertones and will tan but it takes time, plus I freckle on face and arms a bit. I was very hesitant to try this again remembering how gross it used to be but decided with the no smell promise to give it a shot.

Some things to bear in mind: the smell is WAY better than it used to be, and at first there is none, but it DOES show up after and hour or two and if you're sensitive to smells it is still pretty strong. It's especially smelly when your skin is warm for some reason--like if you put on jeans after letting it dry. I've only put it on after a shower with clean skin and the same day I apply I usually want a second rinse off shower later on. UNLIKE the old version, the shower does help rinse the smell off for good. The color is pretty even. People complain the color is too gradual or not deep enough. I wanted that anyway, but I didn't have that problem. In fact even after the first app I've only been using it every few days and it works fine if you're just wanting some color and not a serious brown, faux tan. The smell would still be too much for me to handle every day.

I'll keep using it until (or if) I find something like it that works better.

This does still have the rather strong scent-- one of the reviews I read was that it was now unscented. I don't mind it so much that I won't use it, but the perfumey smell is not something I like.

Love this product. I have bad skin: redness, dry skin, pale, eczema. I don't usually write reviews at all but this product works amazingly. It gives me a light tan, SOFTEN my face, and moisturizes. I do not work for any lotion company, I'm writing this review because I really recommend this product.

This product works great! It's certainly not a mircle product, but daily usage in the winter keeps my arms and legs from looking ghostly white.

I remember using this product YEARS ago and was completely turned off by the smell. It was so horrid I couldn't bring myself to use it more than 3 times before disposing the bottle. By chance, I was at the store and saw a bottle and became curious. I popped open the lid and took a whiff. Pretty pleasant. A bit of the typical "tanner" smell, but not overwhelming. Knowing I could get a better price from drugstore.com, I drove home and got online.

Before applying the lotion, I used a homemade body scrub the day before to ensure smooth and even results. To prevent darkening on the palms of your hands, I would recommend using gloves when applying. To apply the lotion to the backs of your hands (or other particular areas) use a makeup sponge and gently dab and blend in the lotion.

I found that unlike a normal lotion, waiting 15 or more minutes to apply the lotion after bathing is a good idea. If my skin was still absorbing moisture, the lotion felt like it did not apply as evenly as it did to completely dry skin.

I have yet to have a problem with streaking or staining. The color is gradual and very natural. Within two days, my skin went from vampire white to a slight, but noticeable darkening. Once you have built up to your desired shade, maintenance is easy. I only wish they sold this in a larger bottle (with a handy pump, lol!).

I bought this product after Dove discontinued their awesome gradual tanning lotion. I have used most of the bottle over 3-4 months, and apply to my legs every other day. This junk doesn't do ANYTHING! I might as well have been using plain lotion. My skin is just as white as before I started using it. What a let down.
