It does leave more of a skin coating than the Jergens Naturals Daily Moisturizer Hydrate . I am extremely sensitive to smells and the smell in this is a bit strong for me. It is a fairly light scent and doesnt smell bad, but it is strong enough to bother me. Seems to have worked for other people though, it must not work with my body chemistry. Overall it's a very thick lotion, probably better for the winter than the summer. It is the only one that doesn't make my eyes burn and itch. I even get compliments on my complexion and I'm the grandma of 7! It is nice that it is so reasonably priced too! 'Can't do without it!
