I have used Nodoz usually a half a caplet or two on hour trip to work for better part of 12 years and before that since about 1993. As Nodoz is unavailable, I tried Jet Alert for the first time because of the easy to split caplets. Problem has been - 2 times in past week I took 1 and one half pills in the 45 minutes and I still had hard time staying awake. And a couple weeks ago on a trip I had hard time driving 2 or 3 pills didnt help. I have an unopened bottle I want to return. but not sure I can as is 30 days past reciept. Never had this issue with Nodoz. I do not recommend this product.

I'm no lightweight, in any way, shape or form. I was a daily Excedrin user for years, always taking 3 gelcaps at a time. Since Excedrin was at least temporarily removed from the shelves, I bought a bottle of this. My background- I drink one to two 10 oz. mugs of coffee each morning (at one point in my life, I'd drink three, if I had time enough that day). I'm a Southerner- both strong iced tea & Coca-Cola are a mainstay of my drinking life, and have been forever. I'm a full-figured woman, and caffeine has never been known to make me jittery or make my head feel strange. Well, apparently, I've met my match- like Rocky fighting Drago in "Rocky VI". I took two of these the first time I had them, because I am not a person who usually takes only one pill of anything at a time- big mistake. I didn't feel energetic- I felt like I'd taken speed, without any pleasent aspects included. My hands have never shaken so much in my life, not even when having to meet with three of my bosses by myself to discuss an annual performance review. I'd highly suggest that you take these things seriously. I now take one at a time, and I darn sure don't take one every day, only when I absolutely feel like death warmed over & have to take in a pick-me-up. Taking two of these as a thin person, I would think, would be utterly dangerous. I'm not sure I'd recommend it to those that are at their normal weight, and definitely not the underweight, at all. I find no appetite-curbing properties come w/ these, and the energy that one pill gives is akin to taking two Excedrin & sipping on a Coca-Cola. Just right. I also would highly suggest not taking these after lunchtime, or your bedtime will be pushed up indefinitely. These seem to take awhile to work, but last in the system longer than Excedrin did. That's just my anecdotal experience, though.

I bought these because I can no longer take Excedrin (I don't take aspirin anymore). I've been a daily Excedrin user for years, I drink 1-2 large mugs of coffee in the morning, and I'm no stranger to tea in all forms or to regular cola. Remember the soft drink "Jolt"? I used to drink those daily- loved it. Caffeine is a pain reliever, as well, and goodness knows, a lot of people need that (me included). I also needed an energy boost (who doesn't?), especially in the afternoon. I'm not a high-energy person to begin w/ physically, though I am mentally, and I want to get a lot done daily. So I have to push my sluggish body into action, and extra caffeine makes that possible. And I take meds for a medical condition that make me sleepy, as well. This product works, all right- almost too well. I took two the first time I used these. Considering my German heritage, I'm not exactly a lightweight. I eat regular meals & snacks & I'm a full-figured, tall, tough lady. But two of these made me jittery beyond belief. So, I can say that they DO work! (Excedrin never caused jitters, for me, by the way.) But I'd recommend only taking one, as I now do, after I wised up, that is. Do not take them within six hours of bedtime, unless you prefer to be nocturnal & then crash the next morning. If you're really thin or haven't eaten much, seriously consider not taking this for energy, or only take half a pill, and see how it works for you. These are potent, much more so than any caffinated drink!

This product made me sleepy and very sick. I am tossing the rest of the bottle out. I can't believe how ill it made me feel and it didn't wake me up at all.

Gets me up in the morning, kills after lunch drowsiness. About 1/2 the cost of other brandname caffine pills. Easier on our stomach than a cup of strong coffee. I've used Jet Alert for many years now.

I'm 97lb. I've been looking for something like this for a while now and finally got it! I read some comments and I end up buying the 200mg bottle. I work 9-6 so in the late afternoon, I need a boost at 4...boy it work fast! I took 1/2 of the pill cause I wanted to see how it affect me since this is my first time! I lasted another 2 hrs and more when I got home. When it was night time...no problem falling asleep. Love it! Finally found it!

Jet alerts work. I have a 12 hour work day -- 11 hours plus commuting. Sometimes there is no time to get a legal break, so a jetalert in the pocket has to substitute. Unlike other brands, it actually seems to have the stated amount of caffeine, you really feel the buzz. I break them in half when I just need a little perk. Too bad they add the yellow food dye, really a miss on their part.Since [...] stopped selling caffeine (surprising, since they have no problem selling alcohol!), I shopped around. This site had the best deal, buy one at full price, the second at half-price.I bought extras for my sister the nurse and my friends at work.
