I have used this several times and haven't noticed a change. Just going to try to use it up. I have thick, longer hair and I like to have enough product to work into my hair. A little of this product does not go a long way for me, so I need quite a lot for my longer hair. Bottle should be used up soon. I see no shine difference or silky difference.

I do color my hair; the color fades with time. This product gives s nice sheen but the 2-3 times a week for 3 minutes each time does not fit well with my morning schedule. I thought this was a monthly-use product when I bought it. Nothing awful about it just not for me.

This is the perfect temporary color. I use it when I swim, to add color back that the chlorine strips from my hair.

After severe reactions to salon and box dyes, thought I'd have to live with gray hair forever. Saw this in my local drug store, and decided to give this a try, as my last resort. My hair looks and feels great and healthy!!! Have gotten numerous compliments from coworkers. My self esteem, and hair, has been restored. Do, however, have a bar of soap handy and wash hands immediately after applying, as it will tint your skin (like a self tanner).

I've used many options to cover my grey. This product says it's for brunettes, confusing, because it's FABULOUS for grey hair. I colored my hair permanently for years, then when I turned 90% grey, started dying all over blonde, with highlights and lowlights added. Expensive! Bothersome! I saw this product on drugstore.com when I was searching for temporary colors that don't use peroxide or amonia. I was skeptical, but ordered anyway. To my pleasant surprise, it is by far the best prouct I've ever used for covering grey hair. I've applied twice so far... you can leave it on for much longer than the 3-minute suggestion, if desired. My hair looks like $200 professional coloring. Confused as to why the makers do not market it as a grey cover, like similar products. I intend to use this product forever... have to sign off now so I can order about 10 bottles; I never want to run out.

Wear gloves unless you enjoy henna palms! Apply as conditioner, leave in at least 5 minutes, rinse, wait for compliments! It transforms the gray into a stunning hair color, but doesn't seem to mess with the natural color.

Although it's a temporary product, it lasts long enough to not be a bother. Also, it gives a much more interesting color mix than any permanent dye.

Shampoo hair, remove excess water, add conditioner and evenly distribute. Add small amount(s) of the liquid shine glaze in palm of hands and spread, then begin working into roots and hair. Repeat steps until you have adequately covered hair. Use a vent brush and starting at ends of hair brush until products are evenly distributed through hair. Leave on hair for approximately 7 mins., then rinse until water clear. Hair will feel very silky. Dry and use Organix Moroccan for added lustre using a nylon bristle styling brush.

I used one of the only non-permanent hair coloring I could find for 10 years. Suddenly, I became allergic to this product, just when I was grayest. I refused to go grey but could not find another option. Most of these hair dyes caution that you should test for reactions prior to using it, every time you use it. Most also state that if you've ever had a reaction to any hair dyes, don't try another color or brand. This JF Liquid Shine product is not a dye, it is a stain containing several ingredients that are also consumed as foods. It is gentle, quick and convenient to use, smells nice and doesn't require a developer. However, it must be used 2-3 times a week to keep the color deep enough. My grey hair will sometimes lighten to a coppery red if I shampoo without staining after I shampoo and condition. The stain only takes 5 mins. I apply 4-5 dime sized amounts to towel dried hair after washing and conditioning. First to top/front sides, then to top front/center,then both sides above ears, the back section, and sometimes a second application to front sides or top.
