Unlike some others, I finally figured out that I was actually using far too little following the "dime sized" instruction. I use a big dime-sized blob on *each side* of my long-ish hair, from about the ears down (yes: it may flatten fine hair a bit if you use it at the top/crown, but that seems kind of obvious...?) and I try to apply more toward the ends. My hair is fairly fine, somewhat wavy, naturally a bit frizzy and a bit damaged from lightening. Once my hair is completely dry (an hour or so after drying), the stuff just makes my hair look and feel a lot more like healthy hair. It's kind of a revelation! Since my hair is a bit fly-away, I appreciate the minimal extra weight toward the bottom which just gives the effect of slightly heavier/thicker hair. I've tried a few other similar products which do make my hair seem a little oily or weighed down. This stuff doesn't do either. I love it. VS Most Liked Negative Review Too Heavy This stuff is too heavy and very greasy. It weighs down my hair and makes it look dirty/oily. Don't waste your money. Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Serum, Original Formula, 1.69 fl oz: You know, the thing about this product is that you have to use a tiny (less than dime sized) amount. I have a lot of hair, and if I use more than that it weighs my hair down and makes it kind of tacky. But with a small amount, my hair is much smoother and shinier. You have to really work it into all your hair too. Follow these rules and you will be really happy. Pros Cons

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Serum, Original Formula, 1.69 fl oz: The product worked alright, but the smell was too strong for me, and I threw the bottle out though it was half full. Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Serum, Original Formula, 1.69 fl oz: I use to use this all the time. When I had a perm, it smoothed out my curls and if my hair was frizz, it worked great!
