Like the shampoo, I wasn't sure what to expect from this conditioner. I have wavy hair that, to be honest, gets a little frizzy and nappy. A lot of conditioners really weigh it down, so I want seemingly the holy grail - a smoothing conditioner that protects, and adds volume.

My hair is definintely smoother, and feels softer. I could still use a little more volume, but its not flat, and feels great.

I did use this conditioner in concert with the John Freida Frizz Ease Smooth Start Shampoo. I would have to give the pair a thumbs up over the more expensive brand I was using.

I really enjoy John Frieda hair products and this used in conjunction with the Smooth Start Shampoo, Repairing made my long hair smooth and healthy looking. I noticed a difference but not a ton since I had been using another set of Shampoo/Conditioner by John Frieda prior. I would suggest any of the products in his line. This new one is good, as I would expect from his products!

    Helps Control My Frizz

I've used the Frizz Ease Serum for a while, but it never worked that well for me until I used the shampoo and conditioner. I have wavy, frizzy hair and it is very difficult to tame the frizz. I use the shampoo and conditioner (I leave it in for a couple of minutes) and then use the serum on soaking wet hair right out of the shower. This really helps reduce the frizz when I blow dry it straight.

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Conditioner, Repairing, 10 fl oz:

A year ago I was on the search for a new deep conditioner since my former favorite (Pantene) changed their line, and I hate it. This Frizz-Ease had some of the best reviews, and I was lucky that my local drugstore sold travel size versions of this so I could try it first. I really enjoyed the smell, and it was very smooth and coats my medium-thick hair well. When it rinses, my hair feels sooo soft and smooth. I didn't notice a miraculous improvement in my hair's health once dry; it's still lacking the shine my hair used to have and was hoping to get back, but I bought the full-size bottle anyway. I've been using it for about a year with various brands of shampoo (I change it up between deep moisturizers, anti-dandruff, and clarifying shampoos based on my needs), and my hairdresser always comments on how healthy my hair is and how much she loves touching it because she's not used to such healthy hair!

The real proof of how great it really is was when one day last week I found my old Pantene deep conditioner and decided to give my hair a "treat." Well, as soon as I got out of the shower I noticed the LACK of smoothness in my hair. After blowdrying it, my hair was ridiculously frizzy and lacking moisture, even though I used it with my It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product as I always do. I only wash my hair every two days, so for two whole days I had to walk around with ugly, frizzy hair full of sticking-up fly-aways. I now know never to make that mistake again! I think the difference is that this Frizz-Ease is sulfate-free -- sodium lauryl and sodium laureth sulfates are DRYING agents, and I never really thought the hype about sulfates must be true until this little accidental experiment. I just may have to try the Frizz-Ease shampoo now too!

Great product! My hair is very dry and wavy. I use it in the shower, as well as add it to the ends of my hair after towel-drying for extra conditioning. Nothing has ever made my hair so soft and manageable - also leaves my hair smelling wonderful!

While I do like the Frizz Ease Shampoo, the conditioner left a lot to be desired. Namely, it made my hair heavy and almost greasy. Might be OK if you use it then shampoo your hair again..

This conditioner is terrible!!! I have curly shoulder length hair that tends to frizz. I thought this product would be great but it was just another waste of money. First off I am having trouble getting past the smell. It is way too perfumery and strong!!! If I had smelled this 1st in a store I never would have bought it. It left my skin in the shower very sticky! It did nothing to tame the frizz. In fact I have more frizz now than I did yesterday using my old products. Highly disappointed!!!

My hair is wavy and a bit frizzy especially right after shower. Tried this new conditioner together with the Frizz-ease shampoo, I like the smell and my hair feels very bouncy and soft. I cannot tell though if it helps with the frizz but definitely a decent conditioner for its price.
