I have used lots of products (both affordable and expensive) on my medium-curly hair (more than wavy, but not "very curly"), and this is one of my favorites. It defines and enhances my curls and holds all day without being too "crunchy." It is also great for flattening down flyaways in up-dos and ponytails. The smell is the typical mild scent you get with most John Frieda products. VS Most Liked Negative Review Too sticky I like John Frieda products a lot, but didn't love this product. I have thick, wavy-curly hair. I usually use a curl-enhancing product on my hair while it's damp, blowdry with a diffuser, then put on a little more of the product after drying to add hold and definition. This is ok on damp hair, but was VERY sticky and far too heavy when used after blowdrying for touch-ups. My hair is blond, too, and this spray made it look quite a bit darker. Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Spiral Style Curl-Defining Spray Gel, Curly, 7.5 fl oz: Love this stuff. I work outside and it's hard to find anything to tame my long wavy hair. It's not greasy or heavy and my hair isn't crunchy. It leaves my hair soft, perfect all day long, and it smells so good!!! Pros

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Spiral Style Curl-Defining Spray Gel, Curly, 7.5 fl oz: I have tried EVERYTHING including Fekkai. Bar none, this is the best if you want curls that shine, last all day or even several days. I buy 2 bottles at a time now. I also buy the Frieda Curl Gel, and their Dream Curls which is like wake-up conditioner; after you've used the curl spray or the gel. I can't say enough for this product if you've got wavy or curly hair. Mine is fairly heavy (lots) and even colored, but not coarse. I don't know how it might work on fine thin hair. Pros

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Spiral Style Curl-Defining Spray Gel, Curly, 7.5 fl oz: I love this stuff. Since I have fine curly long hair, it helps to define the curls without weighing it down. It actually also helps to give volume besides defining. I recommend this stuff! ![]() |
