Though it does make hair slightly crunchy, it's practically harmless and unnoticeable due to the no-alcohol in it. I love this and recommend it to everyone! VS Most Liked Negative Review Awful! After trying it over several days in varying amounts I'd call it a BAD dream. Way too much silicone! As long as my hair was never disturbed by touching or wind it looked okay, if a little oily. Any movement of the hair, however, and the curl just fell out, leaving my hair stringy and greasy-looking. I had to shampoo twice to get rid of the slick feeling. Maybe it might work better for super-thick corkscrew curls that actually need to be weighed down some. REVIEWS Reviewed by 66 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » Pros Cons

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Style Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray, 6.7 fl oz: Encourages curl, discourages frizz. I love this! My hair is bouncy and full, not weighed down, and with more waves and curls. I use it before blow drying, and also on dry hair between shampoos to freshen curls. Pros

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Style Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray, 6.7 fl oz: This product works great on natural and perm curls. It's great for defrizzing. The downfall is when you're spraying it on your hair and gets on your hands, it's a bit sticky (nothing that can't be solved). I think this product is one of the better curl definers out there! Pros

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Style Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray, 6.7 fl oz: This holds curls very well. I saw it being used in a John Freida Beach Waves video and thought I'd try it. It adds body, but it does take away shine. I have stick straight fine hair (but a LOT of it) and this works better than hair spray for me. Pros

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Style Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray, 6.7 fl oz: I use when my hair is wet (freshly washed) to protect against heat and encourage natural curl. I also use between shampoos to refresh and enhance curls. Lightweight formula leaves my hair soft, never heavy or greasy. Pros

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Style Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray, 6.7 fl oz: First I have to state that I relax my hair which is a process that seeks to chemically eliminate natural curls from the hair. That being said, I still like to encourage my curls to come out of the submission into which they are forced by the relaxer and my In-Styler. This is where Dream Curls comes in: not only does it help define reluctant curls, but it also tames unruly ones. I was also able to extend my need for a touch up and even contemplated not relaxing again since this (with the help of Fructis) made the new growth curls soften up. My curls are shiny, soft and bouncy now. I'm ready for summer!!! Pros

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Style Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray, 6.7 fl oz: I have frizzy, wavy hair and thought this would help define my waves more. It really didn't do much...my hair was left a bit softer and some flyaways were tamed, but my waves were still limp. Pros

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Style Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray, 6.7 fl oz: Best used right out the shower or on dampened hair. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Style Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray, 6.7 fl oz: I have long (about three inches past my shoulders), wavy, medium coarse, colored treated hair. I would describe it as frizzy, and porous. This product did nothing useful other than to soften my hair. It did NOT define my waves, and did not enhance my hair in any way. My hair was left dull, frizzy and limp. I evenly sprayed my hair (maybe about ten pumps) and combed it through with a wide tooth comb, then scrunched and diffused a bit, then let it air dry the rest of the way. Another ponytail day. [$] wasted. Pros

Comments about John Frieda Frizz-Ease Style Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray, 6.7 fl oz: Lately my hair has been a disaster. I have dyed it too often and all that blow drying did not help either. My hair is already fine and it looked, stringy, lifeless and my wavy/curly did not fall into place anymore. So I tried the full repair line from John Frieda and loved it! Then I decided to add this Dream Curls to my hairstyling and I was pleasantly surprised. My hair looks volumized, healthy and naturally curly again. I don't like to use too much because it can make my hair feel "crunchy and crispy." After I wash my hair and it is naturally dry, I comb it out a bit but the curls remain! I will by this again and again. |
