I am unhappy with this product. I really didn't see much of a difference with my hair. Actually I thought it was heavyweight. I was a little shocked because I am satisfied with the other John Freida Luxurious Volume products. I think I will stick to the mousse and root booster instead of the gel. I find with most gels it is just too heavy for my thin blond hair.

I found this product by accident when it was being closed out at my local supermarket. That should have been a clue of how hard it was going to become finding it...now can only find at Drugstore.com. I have thin, fine, straight hair and use it with blowdryer and round brush. Works for me :)

You don't need to use a lot. it holds the body in your hair and your hair doesn't frizz.

My baby-fine stick straight hair actually holds up all day, no matter what the weather since I've been adding this to my hair routine. I do have to blow it dry, set briefly with jumbo hot rollers and spray it for all-day hold, but this keeps it there. I have used John Frieda mousses for dry weather, but this product seems to have it all for my particular hair. LOVE it!!

I love this product! It gives volume that lasts without feeling sticky or heavy. I use it in conjunction with the root lift and hair thickener. It really helps my hair look and feel thicker and have more body.

I was looking for something cheaper to replace a more expensive product - but ended up throwing this away. It just made my hair look and feel like I hadn't washed it in 3 days. I decided it wasn't even worth using on the days I was putting my hair in a ponytail. I usually like John Frieda products but I guess you get what you pay for.

I was SO impressed with this product that I just had to write a review on it. This was my very first John Frieda purchase, and I am very impressed with his products! This Gel-Creme is so light-feeling and it's not sticky at all. I just put a small amount into my palm after towel-drying my hair, and just work it through; from roots to ends, and blow-dry! I really love how this product makes my hair look and feel....it looks shiny, full of body and healthy and feels soft and silky. It has a light scent (nothing overpowering). I highly recommend this product for those with straight or fine hair! I will be purchasing more John Frieda products in the future!
