This product gives you a little volume but not even close to what it claims it should do to your hair. It makes a major white mess all over the place including all over your clothes.

I haven't had any luck with dry shampoos. Its either the smell that's an issue or in most cases they just don't work well. I saw this recommended in a magazine....thought maybe, just maybe, it might work. LOVED it @ first try! Smells good...got rid of my oily spots from day old flat ironed hair....doesn't leave my scalp feeling gucky. Love that I finally found a dry shampoo to make my mornings a little bit easier.

I have thick, straight, medium length dark hair. This product works just fine and for the low cost, I recommend it. It absorbs oil well and provides a little volume in the process. Only con, is that it does leave slight traces of powder that you need to comb through a bit with your fingers. Not bad though. I was previously using a more expensive Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo and they work similarly, so I'll go with John Frieda bacause of the lower cost.

This works effectively, with a tolerable scent that is not too strong. I have blonde hair, but still do not notice a white residue. I have tried many dry shampoo products and disliked because of breakouts on scalp, overpowering scent, heavy feeling on the hair. This product seems just right and well priced.

Although this smells funny when you first spray it, the smell goes away almost instantly. Lift up your hair and spray at roots, then take your fingers and fluff it out - helps to give body to very fine hair.

A very nice dry shampoo. I have very dark, thin hair that tends to be very oily and flat if I don't wash it daily. This is great in a pinch when I don't have time to wash my hair. It also adds boost and thickness after I style my hair with mousse and thickening spray. I'll add this and hair will be full and good to go all night.

The dry shampoo experience has been a failure for me until now. I've tried the pricey and the inexpensive and so far, this is the best of the bunch. I have very thick, wavy hair that I shampoo and blow dry twice per week. It tends to get a little, uh, smelly on the in-between days and this takes away the stink, adds volume and leaves NO GREASY residue on my scalp. Yes, it does spray white onto my hair but, I work it into my scalp, then pull it through the length of my hair with my fingers. Come on people. Don't spray it on and say, "Oh wow, my hair is white!" then write a bad review. It's SUPPOSED to do that (that's the oil absorbing stuff) which is why the directions specify that it be massaged into the scalp after application...and sprayed on in sections, not one giant blast to the crown of your head.......
