I use this in conjunction with the volumizing shampoo and conditioner and hairspray. I think it does what it is supposed to. My hair is failing me as I get older, and this I believe is helping to hold my shape

I've tried a lot of other volume sprays, and this is the only one that adds thickness without making my hair stiff or gummy feeling.

I have fine, slightly wavy hair that tends to get flyaway. I spray this through my hair after towel drying, comb it in with my fingers, and let it air dry. It makes my hair much more manageable and swingy and generally awesome.

I've been through a few bottles of this already, and I'll keep buying it!

The worst thing a root lifter can be is sticky. Well, this product is not sticky, but it just doesn't lift my roots. Lots of people give it good reviews for fine hair. However, I think my hair is more heavy than fine. This product just not supply enough stiff lift to get my hair up and keep it that way. Problem may be my hair, not the product.

Ordered this product after reading reviews, although found it to be quiet disappointing. I then purchased the mousse thinking it would help to make the product more effective, and didn't care for that combination. Very disappointed.

I didn't find any difference between this line and the Pantene line. I will purchase Pantene for it's price.

Unlike many mousses and gels I've tried, this product is light and leaves my extremely fine hair soft, not rough (texturized) or greasy. I can't tell that I have anything on my hair except that there is lift and volume. I use it at my roots. Just received my 3rd bottle. Love it!

I've tried several products similar to this but John Frieda really masters what is needed to boost fine hair. I'll never go back to anything else! This stuff gives me loads of volume!! I only use the John Frieda Luxurious Volume hairspray on the ends of my hair as well (I do use something different for hold when I pull it back). I've been getting so many compliments on my hair styling. Highly recommended!
