Comments about John Frieda Precision Foam Color Permanent Hair Colour, 5B Brilliant Brown Medium Chocolate Brown, 1 ea: The color is true to box reveal. It is a foam that mixes easily and applies easily. There is a generous amount that two people with short hair could use, or that someone with longer very thick hair would have enough to cover entirely. The smell wasn't harsh. Included in the kit were professional gloves, and a conditioner that you can use afterwards with enough to last one or two more shampoos. It leaves the hair very smooth in texture and very shiny. It rinses clean. I have bought twice now and will continue to buy because the color is simply gorgeous. I only have minimal gray at the temples and it doesn't hold the color there as well, but that isn't an issue for me because I wear my hair straight that no one would notice. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice change, with dramatic color and shine to use.

Comments about John Frieda Precision Foam Color Permanent Hair Colour, 5B Brilliant Brown Medium Chocolate Brown, 1 ea: This by far was the easiest boxed color kit I've ever used, and the first time for me using the John Frieda. I was amazed that there wasn't that "peroxide" smell. In fact, it had a nice scent. The conditioner in the kit was enough to cover my hair and to use for my next follow-up shampoo. The silky feel and look was way beyond anything I had ever experienced with commercial products. I would use again and would be willing to try different shades. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a salon look from home.

Comments about John Frieda Precision Foam Color Permanent Hair Colour, 5B Brilliant Brown Medium Chocolate Brown, 1 ea: I've used this before, but had starting using another brand that was about 3x the price. I love the other one but it's been unavailable. So I switched back to this...I like it because it's so easy to use and the foam makes it WAY less messy , if messy at all. The color looks pretty natural, the next day at work I got lots of compliments on how pretty my hair looked. It covers the grays okay, I have pretty 'stubborn' grays. Overall, I like the product :).

Comments about John Frieda Precision Foam Color Permanent Hair Colour, 5B Brilliant Brown Medium Chocolate Brown, 1 ea: I'm still undecided on this. I thought the mousse would make it easier to apply, which it didn't, but it did mean less mess in the bathroom. The colour result is much redder than the box would lead you to believe.

Comments about John Frieda Precision Foam Color Permanent Hair Colour, 5B Brilliant Brown Medium Chocolate Brown, 1 ea: Awful. Pure garbage. It does NOT cover grays completely, even though I left it on for at least 30 minutes. Some of the gray strands are still gray, and others are bright red, which is NOT what I wanted (I wanted it to look natural). It made my scalp HURT, which has never happened with any other dye (salon or home kit). It stained my hairline. Also, I've never seen a home color kit that said you can't use it when you have product in your hair. My hair is very long, very thick, and frizzy. I *always* have product in my hair. I'm not going to shampoo my hair, leave it without product for a full day, and THEN color it. I've never been especially impressed with John Frieda products; I don't know why I thought this one would be better. Never again.

Comments about John Frieda Precision Foam Color Permanent Hair Colour, 5B Brilliant Brown Medium Chocolate Brown, 1 ea: I color my hair regularly but I always dread doing it because it is messy. This product takes some of that inconvenience away because it doesn't drip. You still have to put something on that you don't care about such as an old tshirt or towel around your shoulders but it is easier to work into your hair and I know I'm getting to every strand down to the roots. And the best part is the result - the color I used was Medium Chocolate. Depending on your original hair color and porosity will depend on the final result. I have light brown hair going to about 25% gray. The first couple of days were a little too red/burgundy for my taste but after a washing or two it turned into a rich auburn brown. I got compliments from 3 people the day after I colored. I'm going to keep using this brand for sure.

Comments about John Frieda Precision Foam Color Permanent Hair Colour, 5B Brilliant Brown Medium Chocolate Brown, 1 ea: I am in my thirties and already 40% gray, and I have also been having trouble in recent years with my grays being color-resistant. I end up with a lot of left-over grays or two-toned hair when I color. I have been wanting to try a foam color since they came out, and having been a long-time user of John Frieda products, I was excited to see their version of a foam hair color on the shelves.
