Comments about John Frieda Precision Foam Color Permanent Hair Colour, Lightest Cool Almond Brown 6.5PBN, 1 ea:

I was so sorely disappointed because I had seen the commercials and rave reviews about this hair color. I always use Loreal or Clairol. I decided to try this because it said it gives you "Salon Results", but nothing could be further from the truth. I followed the instructions to a "T" - and I am very experienced coloring my hair @ home, and it went on fine - and had a pleasant smell and texture, but it lasted thru I think 3 shampoos. In a week my color was gone. I use very, extremely excellent quality color friendly non-sulfate shampoo & conditioner,so I know the fact that it basically came right out is not due to that. I tried it on two different occasions thinking I just may have gotten a bad batch, but the exact same thing happened. Keep this in mind also please; I am always a very generous and fair reviewer. I just cannot recommend this hair color.

Comments about John Frieda Precision Foam Color Permanent Hair Colour, Lightest Cool Almond Brown 6.5PBN, 1 ea:

I started greying early...like in my 20's so I have been coloring my hair for a long time. For the past 19.5 years, I have been paying for colorings every 5 weeks with a stylist shelling out over $125 each time due to double processing. About 6 months ago I decided to stop paying all that money, go darker and brave it myself. After all, I wasn't 1000% satisfied with the job they had been doing so I figured I couldn't make it much worse. I started scouring the Internet and over the past 6 months, I have tried just about every type/brand of color -Naturtint; Couture Color Luxeblend from [@]; John Frieda; Loreal Excellence to Go; Natural Instincts and back to John Frieda...all in that order. Hands down John Frieda wins! The first time I colored with John Frieda a few months ago, I received several compliments but in my quest for the perfect hair color, I continued on my search. Others were either too mousey, too brassy, or just plain dull but the John Frieda came out so rich, shiny and natural looking....truly like I had just stepped out of a salon! The first time I colored with JF it was the medium brown color, since then they have come out with these custom blends and they are gorgeous! This time I went for the 6.5 PBN as the last color I used from Natural Instincts was darker than I had wanted. While my color turned out slightly darker than the box, I know it is due to the previous colorings. It covered all of my grey but I always add the No More Grey to the mix to ensure coverage as I am at least 60% grey. The quest for the perfect hair color has ended now that I have found "THE ONE" and I look forward to peaceful nights surfing for the perfect wrinkle cream!PS - I was NOT paid to write this review, I wrote it for those out there like me spending countless minutes/hours on the Internet for any clue on what to buy.
