I don't know what this product is supposed to be (maybe volumizing) but with a name like 'root awakening' and 'health infusing' I assumed that this product was a moisturizing conditioner. Ever since I started using it my hair has felt coarser and less managable. After using it my hair is in a premanent state of looking like it hasn't been brushed. I usually wash my hair once ever day since I don't have oily skin and hair but (paired with the matching shampoo) the day after my hair looks dingy. Maybe this product just doesn't work well with my hair type, but I will be trying other brands in the future.

Root Awakening Conditioner is fantastic! It leaves my hair so smooth, soft, and manageable. It's better than expensive salon brands. Even my husband noticed how good my hair looked after I tried RA for the first time. I can't say enough about JF products--love them! Drugstore.com sells them for a great price, too.

I only ever use John Frieda products but I never quite understood the difference between his Root Awakening range and the volumizing range but since I've started using it I no longer care because it smells wonderful. It reminds me of After Eights chocolates every time I open the bottle, and even has a little minty tingle (or maybe I'm just imagining the mint). It leaves my hair silky smooth and I love it.

I use this along with the shampoo and i think this is the best drugstore brand money can buy. This conditioner made my hair super soft and shiny . i couldnt believe my eyes after straightening my hair (which i do daily) my hair was just so soft .. it's an amazing shampoo & conditioner!

I only use this about once a week. It smells great, but it does dried my hair out on the ends. I did try it every day but it made my scalp itchy. And when did shampoo and conditioners became so expensive?
