I got a sample of root awakening shampoo and conditioner but when I bought this, it must have different from the sample. I loved the sample but this conditioner was awful. When I blow dried my hair afterwards, my hair looked greasy and disgusting. My hair looked cleaner before the shower than it did after. I tried it many times in different ways-leaving it on for a very short period of time, trying really hard to wash it out for longer than I normally would, not putting much on-and none of these made it any better. I had to call the company to get my money back[...] and I'm gonna try the conditioner with normal hair now....very disappointed.

This is the best conditioner I've found in a long time for my curly hair. It leaves it nice and soft and not weighed down. It also smells unlike any other conditioner I've used. I LOVE the smell! I recommend this conditioner to anyone with dry, curly hair.

I use this product daily and when I want a little extra conditioning I leave it on for 3-5 minutes. I love the smell and so does everyone else. When I let my hair down everyone says my hair smells fresh and clean. Who doesn't want to smell like that? This product works well and the price is nice too.

I have very fine hair that has a natural wave to it when I let it air dry, or I can blow dry it straight for a sleeker look. As I have gotten older, my hair has gotten alot drier, and it is harder to manage. Most treatments for dry hair are just too oily and heavy for my hair. But this shampoo and conditioner is WONDERFUL. It has a yummy minty smell that does not irritate my eyes or sinuses when it steams up in the shower (I am very sensitive to perfumes). And my hair immediately felt softer after one use, without any film or residue left on it. I had been using Motions shampoo for fine to medium hair followed by Aussie Moist conditioner, both of which work pretty well. But I think I like this even better. I'm glad I read the reviews and tried it. For the price, it is much better than any expensive salon brand I have tried too. Although I have thin, fine hair, this probably works well for thicker/curlier hair types as well, because it is so moisturizing. I highly recommend it.

I tried this due to the fact I have used J. Frieda products and they have been good. This product line is way better then good, it is GREAT!!! It smells divine every time my husband smells my head he compliments how good I smell. I tried just the conditioner to see if could help improve the over all health of my hair (which presently is alittle dry & very wavy w/curls & frizzy on those dreaded misty rainy days!!) It did I used it on one of those days and it definitely helped & it conditioned my curly waves & kept the frizz at bay...YAHOO! I am going to purchase the shampoo & see if that too is as good.

I love the tingling feeling. It smells good, too! My hair seems to have more body, too. I will purchase this again. I used the shampoo and spray along with it. They're good together.
