My hair is highlighted heavily and very fine. I'm in the sun a lot and enjoy the water, so breakage has been a problem. I used the shampoo and conditioner together and it did stop the breakage.

My hair is baby fine and straight and using this product daily for the last month has improved the look and feel of my hair tremendously. For the first time in ages I am thinking that I might be able to grow my hair long, whereas previously it was so fragile it would break so easily I could only have short hair. My hair feels so soft, strong, and healthy.

I have no idea why anyone would give this product a bad review! I borrowed this from a friend and was amazed at how soft my hair was after. I used my traditional John Frieda Glistening Perfection for Platinum to Champagne Shampoo and followed with this. I found I had less hair loss in the shower and also used less styling product after, as well as softer, shinier hair. I have professionally dyed blonde hair which is long (read: very dry at the ends), naturally dark, and curly. I also struggle with frizz since it is generally humid where i live. This product worked well for me. I have tried many drugstore and professional brands such as Rusk, Biolage,Herbal Essences, etc. and always find myself coming back to John Frieda.

I love this conditioner. It smells refreshing and it runs tangles out of my hair very easily in the shower. It doesn't weigh down my hair with greasy silicones and doesn't make my hair feel plastic. I was afraid it might dry out my hair over time, but actually it does not. My hair is in better condition now that it was before I started using it (and I was using Pureology NanoWorks conditioner which is a luxury product and super-expensive). I like this conditioner much better than NanoWorks. It rinses cleanly & quickly from my hair & leaves it feeling light & smelling fresh. I am brunette but I love to use the Sheer Blonde line of products. This conditioner gives me the results I want & never any residue buildup. Blonde or otherwise, I recommend this to everybody.

My previous experience with regular John Frieda Sheer Blonde products had been wonderful, so I was eager to try this too. The first thing I noticed was the rather unpleasant smell. The smell isn't over-powering, though, and if that were the only problem I could live with it. What I really don't like is the not-quite-human feel it leaves on my hair. I assume this is what Frieda is calling, "The feel of silky strength", but to me it feels more like plastic than silk! On the plus side, it gives your hair tons of shine, and it MAY even help prevent breakage, since it's clearly leaving some type of coating on your hair.
