I gave this lotion a try and have to say I wasn't satisfied. I added it to my nightly bath routine, which includes lavender bath salts and vanilla bath oil. The lotion, while thick out of the bottle thins quickly on the skin and while it does absorb quickly it doesn't moisturize all that well. The smell is a very chemical fakey lavender and instead of being soothing before bedtime it just made me sort of nauseas and left my skin feeling a bit tight and dry by the time I got into bed. BTW I am not the type of person who is sensitive to smells at all. I wouldn't recommend this product for adults or babies. It really needs some improvement.

This is one of my favorite products to use after every nightime shower or bath. The smell helps me sleep at night.

I'm surprised this only got 3 out of 5 stars overall ! I sometimes use it to moisturize my hands & arms when they're dry and it leaves them soft & dry- not greasy! The reason I bought this is because it's mild & gentle and since I have the tendency to rub my eyes sometimes, I figured this won't irritate them and I was right! It also has a light (not overwhelming) lavender-like fragrance!

I am among the many who wish Johnson would bring back the original bedtime scent. I don't have children, but I used it as my only scent for years and it was perfect. The new, perfume-y scent irritates my nose and I can't see how it could possibly be soothing to babies.

Has anyone found a lotion with a scent like the original?

I hope Johnson's changes their mind.

Like other reviewers, I liked the previous formulation's fragrance a bit better, but have come to love this product. I use it over psoriasis ointment with a mild tar smell, and this covers it nicely.

I have been using this lotion for a while, and I love the feel and gentleness. The fragrance smells nothing like lavender, and it's a bit overwhelmingly sweet at first. So, I use it when I don't feel like wearing perfume. Overall, I love the texture of the lotion; it's just right, never oily, absorbs and moisturizes very well.

My baby girl loves getting a baby massage after her bath and this is our favorite lotion. The smell is amazing, it is light, but delicous! I don't know if the lavendar helps her sleep, because we use it whenever, not just at bedtime. The scent is my favorite thing about this lotion.

I have complained to them and they refuse to bring back the original scent. i will NO longer be buying from them.
