I used it on my daughter 29 years ago on recommendation from my mother who used it on us kids when we were babies in the 40's & 50's. It is the best "preventative" and "cure" for diaper rash that is and ever was on the market in my opinion. It's instant relief! I was having trouble finding it and now that I'm a grandmother it was important for me to find it again for my grandchildren so I wrote Johnson's. They wrote back and said they were sorry to say they were DISCONTINUING it! So, you better pick it up now while you can! Better yet, everyone who really likes this product, please write Johnson's on their web site at www.johnsonsbaby.com. Maybe this will help keep it in their product line if they got enough e-mails. It's been a product of theirs for over 60 years and they never advertised how great it is for diaper rash (and adult chafing too!) It would be a shame if they discontinued this great product. Comments about Johnson's Baby Cream, 8 fl oz: the first year we just used the j&j baby lotion but our ped kept saying his skin felt too dry. we apply lotion after every bath and every night before bedtime. the cream appears to be doing a much better job at moisturizing and you still get that "baby lotion scent". the only thing i wish was that it came in a larger quantity and in one of the pump bottles instead of the squeeze tube. Comments about Johnson's Baby Cream, 8 fl oz: Johnson's got this one right a lont time ago and thankfully, have stuck with it. This cream is EXACTLY what babies should smell like. I don't have any babies in the house now, but using this product as hand cream, especially at bedtime, has a wonderfully calming effect on me. The scent does a great job of bringing back memories of happy times filled with baby coos and giggles.
