I tried this product simply because I wanted to see if it was good, because I like the Vaseline Oil with Brazilian Nut and Almond Oil, however, my husband likes it too, and it was getting expensive. I saw this product, and decided to try it, and I LOVE IT!! I will definitely buy more. It actually left me feeling soft and smooth, even more than the previous mentioned brand. The scent is ok,, however, not as good as the previous one. I would definitely recommend it!! Great Price!! Great Quality!!

a bit too heavy for me

I use oils on my skin after shower/bath while skin is still wet. does not absorb as well as a straight body oil, perhaps because its a gel.

Comments about Johnson's Baby Oil Gel, Cocoa Butter, 6.5 fl oz:

I love this gel! It helps my Winter skin stay soft. My husband comments on my sosft skin almost every time I use it. One caution - it is heavy. My friend said it stained some clothes, which is not too surprising, as it is pretty oily. I use it after a shower and before bed and I am not concerned if it does anything to my sheets. I do feel a little too lubed-up to use it after a morning shower - I don't like to arrive to morning meeting looking like a shiny beach-goer. It's all worth it to me though - I really feel like there is a difference for at least a full day.

Comments about Johnson's Baby Oil Gel, Cocoa Butter, 6.5 fl oz:

I bought this to see if this would help me with my really dry skin. It moisturizes very well and leaves you with a light greasiness. Not over done but a little goes a long way too.

Comments about Johnson's Baby Oil Gel, Cocoa Butter, 6.5 fl oz:

I wanted to use baby oil to moisturize myself after a friend told me about how well it works. The thing is, baby oil is messy and difficult to put on. Lotions often contain parabens. The gel does not have parabens and moisturizes like baby oil without all of the mess. The cocoa butter one smells great and is economical. I use after my shower and wait 5-10 minutes before I get dressed. One thing to note is that I have very dry skin, so if your skin is oily, this might not be suitable for you.

Comments about Johnson's Baby Oil Gel, Cocoa Butter, 6.5 fl oz:

Immediately after shower while skin is still wet. I apply in the shower itself, but not on lower legs or feet to make exit from shower safer. It does not absorb immediately because it is an oil - and because it is a gel, it's heavier than plain oil which goes on so easily . Rub oil-gel in circles all over body to initially start absorbtion. Then follow with a gentle pat-dry with towel - do NOT wipe with towel as this will negate the absorbtion process. After pat-dry, you will notice how soft your skin will be.
Excellent for conditioning, improving, and softening your skin. Remember, your skin is your body's 'Largest organ' - take care of it, just like you do for your heart.

I am constantly told how extremely soft my skin is. I am 50 yrs. old and have the soft skin of a much younger woman. This is my secret! I apply the body gel while still in the shower, on wet skin. Then pat dry. It even softens my winter cracked heels. Apply before bedtime, cover w/ socks, and no more cracked heels. Best body moisturizer ever!!

This works well, but will use plain oil in the future. Something about the Johnson's product that don't see too pure.

Shines the baby up nicely though.
