I have been using cream bleach for years to lighten dark hair around face. (I am not a fan of wax.) I have not been happy with previous options as all were made by companies that test on animals. This product is cruelty-free, works great, & does not sting! Hairs are lightened (but not stark-white like some bleaches leave them) & softer. Desired results occur quickly, within the ten minutes suggested. I have very sensitive skin & every other bleach has stung & left red marks. Not this one! it is comfortable & rinses off easily.

I purchased this trusting the Jolen brand and that this was a mild formula for bleaching facial hair. Was I wrong or what. Within seconds, my skin started burning and the same with on my fingers cuz the cream was obviously super hard to manage in the narrow jar with that tiny spatula. The mixing tray is absolutely useless. Created a mess and burned my skin with dark patches and redness. Had to immediately remove it within less than a minute without waiting for 10 minutes; no bleaching effect whatsoever. I react well to herbal and mild bleaching formulas, and this is clearly NOT a mild formula and not to be used. I'd stay away and deal with dark facial hair than use a product and risk my skin for permanent scarring. I hope these patches will subside soon...I immediately washed the bleach with a makeup removing cleanser and followed up with lots of calamine lotion to soothe irritated skin.

When I used this I noticed it only really works on small thin hairs. Otherwise you have to leave it on longer or reapply to lighten darker hairs. Its really just taking a chance when you mix the accelerator with the cream since it does not give good directions. I have just taken a gamble each time I mix this and usually It works out fine. The smell was bearable I had to turn on a fan cause it was messing with my eyes. Even though it worked just fine. I will not purchase again. I did not like the mixing plate that came with the kit. It was small flat and was hardly enough room to mix if you were mixing a lot. The accelerator just slid off the plate while mixing. And the spatula was way too small.

the color of your hair
this product is pretty mild so I didn't have any problem with it even thought i left it on my skin for a long time (alot longer than 10 minutes)

I have been using Jolen for years, and I think it's the best for bleaching facial hair. It only has to be on for ten minutes, it doesn't smell and the results are great. My only advice would be to sit and relax while it's working, don't run around trying to do housework or anything. It will start to lift and fall off otherwise. But if you want to reduce the appearance of a mustache(and what girl doesn't!), check out this product.

I've been using this for 13 years, and I think it's great. It does temporarily lighten your skin, but that fades within a few minutes/an hour. I usually do this at night anyway. If you don't mix it correctly, it can burn and cause irritation... just make sure you mix it in the right proportions. Also, don't leave it on too long. This works great though, and lasts a long time (both the product and the results). I need to do it again, and the last time I did was a month ago.

I love Jolen for my eyebrows. You have to make sure you mix the ratios correctly and then you don't get the flakiness problem.
I would recommend this product, but be sure to follow the mixing ratio properly.

I love this product! This is the first time I bleached my arms, and Jolen saved me from getting a bad experience! It lightened all my dark hairs very fast and the results are wonderful. The only down side is the mixing of the powder and cream! Overall, great! A+++
