I recommend Joy for stain removable from clothes.
I have used it many years since 20 years ago using it on great on my son's clothes from his working on cars.
I am having trouble finding it in stores now.

I am extremely puzzled by this but it has happened with literally every single "antibacterial" dishwashing liquids sold in USA and I am absolutely sure that it is specifically the "antibacterial" soaps that are causing this.

Up until recently I have been using a natural handsoap like Burt's Bees or Trader Joe's brand to wash my dishes before putting them into the dishwasher... the Trader Joe's lemon handsoap was naturally antibacterial because of the lemon's properties and it did not contain any "antibacterial" chemical. I ran out of this dishsoap, so I decided to try Joy. I have experienced bizarre odor from using Dawn antibacterial dish soap before so I was skeptical, but since that somehow has never happened with antibacterial soap imported from my home country (Japan), and there is a "Joy" in Japan, I thought that perhaps this brand will not cause that disturbing smell of dirty wet rags with my sponge and even my hands.

Boy was I wrong. I received this product and started using it, and withing a couple of days my sponge started to ABSOLUTELY reak. I will ring it up, rinse and repeat, make sure it's dry at the end of the day, change the sponge... doesn't matter, it will reak the next day. And if you use that sponge, your hands will reak and the smell will not go away for hours no matter how many times you wash your hands.

Now I am absolutely sure that this germy smell---ironically---happens only when I use "antibacterial" soaps with triclosan in it. To make matters worse I read up online on how hazardous these "antibacterial" soaps are to the environment. I am going back to natural soaps and will never ever buy this brand or any commercially available "antibacterial" dish soaps again.

This soap is really runny, so I end up using a lot more of it compared to other brands. It smells good, though, and is gentle on your hands.
