Great for graying hair. Be aware that you will have to use it often as the shorter hair (beard, sideburns, etc.)grows out fast and when the grey shows it is time to use again.

I use it on my close-cropped beard, i apply a plastic baggie to hold the color tightly against my beard (1/4") so that the stubble turns brown, especially at the roots. I always rinse it off (and rinse the tray) in the shower and try to avoid getting the color in the grout as it will be there permanently.

Be careful if the gel in the color tube goes from hazel to dark brown, at that point it has gone bad, and you can get facial burns from mixing the two tubes (probably because the white activator has nothing to activate, and is either very acidic or basic.) Close the cap on the color tube tightly, and squeeze out the air.

I also use this on my hair, it works far, far better than the hair coloring from "Just for Men", which is ineffective.

follow directions- you cant tell anything happening at first but color darkens as stated

My fiancée is bald, shaves his head so no grays there, but when I suggested he cover his grays on his beard/mustache he scoffed thinking it was girly. I finally convinced him and did it for him the first couple of times. He was hooked from day one!!! This product is so very natural looking as long as you choose your appropriate color, of course. It's quick, easy, pretty much fool proof and lasts a pretty long time. He trims his very course beard/mustache pretty frequently and he now does his own touch-ups about every 6-8 weeks and when he is running low he will let me know to order the next one for him!!! Go figure!!

I use this about once a week. It's easy to apply, smells good and does not take a long time to work. It's very natural looking. Once you figure out the right color for you, no one can tell. It blends very well. It leaves a nice mix of mostly new color, some shading of lighter, and a few greys. (Even my most critical friends say they can't tell I use color.) I don't know if that's intentional by the manufacturer or just my own beard reaction, but it ends up looking perfect. Resist the temptation to go as dark as you were when you were 20, match it to your hair color (they have a chart on the side of the box), and do not leave it on longer than the five minutes the directions say. You can maybe get away with a couple of extra minutes, but sometimes your skin will stain, so it's not worth the risk. And definitely shampoo afterwards, I also thoroughly wash the skin right around the beard to avoid any possibility of staining. I wish it lasted longer, but I guess I have pretty aggressive grey....once a week routine is not so bad, and the results are worth it.

I use it for appearances for my books. I am bald, so without a darker beard I do not look like the book jacket photo and I wash out under stage lighting.

Hard to get color right w/r/t timing. ie when is time up. From 1st starting to apply , in the middle of applying or end of aplication?
