JUST FOR MEN IS easy to use, maybe other coloring products are messier, but this is just the contents of one bottle into another and wear the gloves --- that is it. All you have to worry about is how fast your hair grows out. Good color (I use dark brown) and it doesn't wash out.

I am a man, and have tried hair salon color treatments as well as many of the products marketed towards women on the store shelves. None have worked...they all fade from dark brown to red in short order, which of course looks horrible. Just for Men is the only product that works well. The color actually stays brown. After 4-5 weeks, however, it does fade to light brown and needs to be done again, but that's reasonable enough. It's easier to use than many other products because it only needs to sit for 5 minutes and doesn't smell like harsh chemicals. But it will stain anything, including wall paint and the bathtub, so you have to avoid splashing it and you should wipe it up quickly when it spills.

Best when used 3-4 day prior to an event to keep the color from fading too much. After the 7th day the product starts to fade and the gray slowly returns. Best used for temporary purposes.

This horrible chemical does dye your beard, but over the course of the day starts to itch, burn, turn your skin red, then creates blisters that ooze clear puss. I can't believe this poison is on the market. My face is still recovering after 2 weeks of not using. Hoping the skin on my chin was not permanently damaged!

I used to use Natural Medium Brown which was a perfect match. Now that color is too light, so I switched to Dark Brown which is ok. It seems that the formula isn't lasting as long as it used to. I could get away with coloring only when I got a haircut. Now I need to apply at least once between haircuts. I only shampoo once each day. I notice a lightening of the color within a week. Maybe the company can sell twice as much of the product now :-(

I split the chemicals into two applications which is ideal for my thinning hair. Just keep your first set of applicators and bottles for later use. Use old towles and be careful because it will stain. Should use mild shampoo for colored hair or it will have a tendency to wash out early due to the harsh shampoo.

this product works, but after a week you can see the glimmer of the underlying greys shining back through. I also experienced intense irritation of the scalp for 4-5 days after using product for recommended time (leave in 5 min). The first day no prob, but next felt like I had severe irritaion and could not stop scratching and it hurt when I did scratch. Good for emergency use only, otherwise for regular use I'd skip it.

I have been using this brand and this color for years (approx 15). This summer I let my hair grow a little until the grey started to show and then cut it short. To everyone it appeared that I went salt and pepper overnight. Even people in my family had no idea that I had been coloring my hair for years and years. The product gives a great natural look and helps to make thinning hair appear to have more coverage. It can be messy. I use Everclear to remove any stains on my skin. The comments about my grey are getting on my nerves so I am comming back to this reliable product.
