It has all of the great features of the original Lectro-Kennel, but it is made of softer material giving owners much more flexibility in placement and transportation, and giving your pets extra comfort. Lectro-Kennel has been warming pets for over 30 years. Designed for doghouses, basements, garages, barns, sheds, porches or any other outdoor shelter. This bed is perfect for the daytime outdoor dog. It uses an internal thermostat to keep the temperature at a desirable 102° when the pet lies upon the inflatable pad. The unit is constructed of a soft but durable material and has a steel wrapped cord to ensure your pet's safety. The Lectro-Soft™ is also extremely low wattage.

It gets warm when pet lays on it. Cats like it more than dog. Not warm enough for her because she has thin hair (coon hound). It only gets to 102 degrees so it doesn't radiate tons of heat for a cold room. It only gets warm when it's laid on so it's ostensibly low power. I would buy one that gets to 104 degrees or is adjustable if I had another shot at it. It could be a bit wider. My dog is not too big but she spills off the edges unless curled into a ball.

Mat warms up slowly and keeps the dog comfortable. It does not get hot hot. It is not suppost to. It does what it suppost to do, it keep your dog warm,.

Bought this for my aging Border Collie. It was a perfect size for him, not too poofy and hard to get onto. Comfortable low heat. I liked the removeable cover, washed up great. Overall, a good warm bed for an aging dog. I will definately purchase another one if the need arises.
