If you want a natural feeling, this is the product for you. My husband and I have tried several different lubricants, but this is by far our favorite. After suffering with endometriosis for about 12 years, I was put on Lupron Depot injections at the age of 21. With the injections came a drug-induced menopause, and all of the side effects that goes along with it. Lack of vaginal lubrication, decreased sex drive, and loss of sensation during love making, which meant that most of the time I would just give up on my having a "special moment" all together. My husband and I were now needing to use lubricants about 90% of the time, which was not the cause prior to the injections. Yes, it's a little pricier than others (and I think that a little of that is because you're buying the K-Y brand name), but it is definitely worth it. The first time I used it, I didn't tell my husband, and he was so happy to "not have to use anything" because he thought it was ALL ME. He couldn't tell a difference between the Intense and the 'real thing', and when I did share with him that it was a new lubricant, he said, "I don't care what it is; it felt like the 'old days' before your injections. This is incredible!!" That was awhile ago, and we are still on our first bottle! A little definitely goes a long way. I disagree that it can be a bit messy (can't they all?) or that it's difficult to wash off. In fact, this is the only lubricant that I can't even tell we've used, because it feels so natural. It's not sticky and it has a very light, pleasant scent. To be perfectly honest, it actually make me feel like I've used some sort of vaginal moisturizer, like the same feeling you get when you've used a moisturizing bath oil that leaves the smallest amount of residue on your skin so that you feel really smooth to the touch. The same goes for my husband's "skin." Intense lasts a long time, with no need for a second application. It's very fluid, so you do have to watch how much you a using, or you'll end up with a palm full. Six months ago, I finally had a complete abdominal hysterectomy, so the menopause is here to stay. BUT, I don't have the dryness near as much as I used to, because-and this may sound far fetched- I used this product. Whether it was a physical side effect or a mental side effect, due to the boost in self confidence at knowing that I wasn't causing a problem in our marriage bed-which led me to "not needing this product as often", if you know what I mean. The sensation when using this is wonderful because of not only the natural feeling, but also that slight "moisturizer" residue that makes things fell silky and just the right amount of slippery. Plus, while I was recovering from surgery, which has been a very long road and means that I wasn't able to have sex again for probably eight weeks, my husband had to, well...do what he had to do. He reached for this product everytime, and has been ever since it was released on the market and I brought it home. The same goes for my 'personal time'. I really recommend this product, and to be frank, my husband is actually the one who reaches over for it before I have a chance to. One thing though, the "push to open" dispencer isn't easiest thing I've ever used, and we actually tend to leave the top pushed open and the bottle on the nightstand. Also, because of th fluidity of this product, it should be kept upright at all times. Don't pack it in a suitcase or put it in a drawer laying on its side, because you will have a spill on your hands. I don't recommend this for "back door sex", but only because it is so 'real' feeling and you don't use the real thing for lubricant during that particular act. Worth the money, and will definitely leave you satisfied!
