Got as a Christmas present for my mom who has had problem with cracked and dried feet for years, even in the summer. I got this in combination with the Kerasal ultra and Kerasal Callus removal pad. During the first three nights, she used the pads to scrub away the hardened skin, and then applied Kerasal ultra before going to bed wearing cotton socks. In the mornings, she applies the Kerasal one step exfoliating moisturizer. It has only been one week, and you can tell that there are no more cracks/dried skin up close. She has sinced stopped using the callus removal pads because there are no more cracked skin, but she is using the two creams daily. Her feel are definitely better looking than they have in years, and you can actually see the rosy color beneath the skin, whereas all that was covered by white calluses before. I've never written a review for a product before, but rely a lot on consumer reviews when I purchase, so hoping that this will help someone else out.

I'm in the minority, but this product did nothing at all for the calluses on my feet. I applied twice a day as directed, and nothing happened... Finally, I used up the entire tube, and there was still no noticeable improvement. Yes, my feet have calluses, but they are not that bad. I should have seen some results! I bought this product because of the glowing reviews on this site. I really don't know why this product is so highly recommended by other users. In my opinion, it was a complete waste of my money. Also, the ointment is very messy. I was not impressed at all.

I used this on my sister who had ashy skin and cracked heels. She thinks I am a magician. It makes your heels immediately presentable.

Stil waiting for drugstore.com to correct the mistake and send the cream. I've returned two shipments of ointment and requested cream in exchange. Still waiting.

Comments about Kerasal One Step Exfoliating Moisturizer Therapy, 1 oz:

I've tried several, even prescription, creams for cracked heels. The Salycidic Acid and Urea in this ointment do the trick. It is a little messy, but you only need a little. I'm in the military and wear boots daily, so I put it on in the morning before my socks. When the summer comes around, I can wear my pretty shoes without embarassment. I have recommended it to my friends and they use it now.

This product is like smearing pure vaseline on you feet. You then have to wear socks to keep from ruining your floors and or shoes. So the bottom line is if you enjoy wearing socks all the time buy this product.I thought the point was to use a product so you don't have to hide your feet.I would recommend a rich lotion instead.

Several years ago I had the nails on both great toes removed due to unbearable ingrown nail infections. The relief has been tremendous, but the remaining nail bed tends to get dry and shriveled. A small dab of this ointment daily keeps my nail beds soft and healthy. It's a tad messy, but a little goes a long way. It also keeps elbows soft!

Live in FL and almost always wear sandals or flip flops. My feet and heels take a beating.

I tried dozens of foot creams, exfoliaters, etc. and Kerasal was the only one that worked on my deep cracks. If used as directed, my heels and feet always look and feel good. My heels and feet heal within 2-3 days. Good stuff!!

Comments about Kerasal One Step Exfoliating Moisturizer Therapy, 1 oz:

Ran out of Kerasal recently, so bought a generic store brand, thinking I'd save a bit of money. Not only was the tube defective (not completely sealed at crimp, so when tube was squeezed, ointment came out both ends), the generic ointment was less effective. I found that I was applying at least 50% more product to try to achieve the results I had with brand name Kerasal, but it still didn't work as well. I have hereditary calloused feet--heels, balls of feet, toes. Even if lotions and creams could penetrate, the dead skin has still got to come off, right? Kerasal is an acid peel for the feet. Sure, I could rasp, pumice, and cut the dead skin off with sharp scissors (which is what my grandfather used to do on his feet), but why put in all that elbow grease when you can just chemically exfoliate? Two notes: If you walk around without socks on after application, the ointment will get rubbed off onto the floor or your footwear and therefore not be as effective. Also, this product may not work if you have something else going on besides just dry skin (i.e. fungal infection).
