All hype. I would have expected much much more from a [$] tube of conditioner. The results were no better than anything else I have used to control my dry, fine color treated hair. Very overpriced and does not deliver what it promises....

I was really impressed with this product. I usually get terribly dry hair in the winter and have to deep condition weekly. However, with this conditioner, I only had to deep condition about once a month. My hair was soft and shiny. Loved it. Smell is a little strong, not for everyone.

This is a fantastic conditioner that is light yet moisturizing and is great for hair that can't take extremely heavy conditioning, but needs moisture every now and then. I have fine hair that is bleached and a little dry and damaged and I find this conditioner gives it some shine and health. I use it along with The Bain de force resistance shampoo, which strengthens hair and is a bit drying, because of the protein in it, and this conditioner gives my hair some moisture.

I love the smell.

This conditioner is light and is intended for normal to dry hair and not intended for really dry hair as one reviewer hated the product, because it didn't help really dry hair. There are other heavier conditioners in the Nutritive line that are specifically designed for very dry hair and are a bit heavier.

Unfortunately, I could not get beyond the very strong "old lady face powder" smell.

I typically use the Chroma Reflect line of Kerastase products, and I have to say I was blown away with how great this conditioner was as a day-to-day conditioner! My hair was incredibly soft and manageable, and remained so throughout the day, and even the next day! Unlike some of Kerastase's other non-masque conditioners, Lait Vital Proteine is nice and thick, too. Some of the other daily conditioners are very thin and runny (like the Chroma Reflect Lait) and difficult to get into your hair. That is not the case for the Lait Vital Proteine! Great stuff!!

Here's my story: I haven't cut my hair in a while, I think almost two months. So you can imagine that it's getting a little haggard. I was thinking about how frizzy my ends were looking, how dry and straw like it was feeling. I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow, but thought I would try the conditioner out to see just how good this stuff was...
WOW. Granted, this cannot undo all of the damage my hair has sustained, but I cannot believe the difference. My ends are soft and smooth. My hair is shiny and looks healthy. And to top it off, it has a unique and clean smell.

I love this product! I use both the shampoo and conditioner and it really works miracles on my hair. I hate paying the ridiculous price in America and often get my mother to send me supplies from Australia, where it is much more reasonable. Initially, I didn't think Kerastase made a difference on my damaged hair but I ran out while on vacation and after a week of not using it, my hair was in a horrid state. Thanks Kerastase.
